The Solari Report

This Thursday evening on The Solari Report, I will be talking with Chris Martenson about his efforts to help people understand what is happening in "economy, energy and environment." E.F. Schumacher once said "Our task is to look at the world and see it whole." That’s a good description of Chris and what his current creations are trying to help us do.

Chris received his doctorate in neurotoxicology at Duke University in 1994 and an MBA degree from Cornell University in 1998. He began a successful career in corporate America until leaving in 2005, changing his lifestyle and publishing ""The Crash Course," a 3 1/2 hour video which has become an Internet sensation. In his positive style, he has followed it up with a section on his website, "What Should I Do?".

Chris will describe how he went from corporate executive and scientist to successful entrepreneur. We will cover the key points as well as how this information is impacting governance decisions globally, ideas on how to evolve our personal finances and the wider financial system as well as how Chris and his wife are helping people work through the emotions of change.

And don't miss our latest Solari Report Digest #20 podcast - excerpts of The Solari Reports. Available at http://solari.com/podcasts/20.

A junior mining company I’ve followed for years recently announced that they were raising money. The initial response from some investors was to cry "Dilution!." Virtually all mineral exploration and development companies are reliant on the public markets to fund operations.

Egypt and Tunisia Usher in The New Era of Global Food Revolutions

Political risk has returned with a vengeance. The first food revolutions of our Malthusian era have exposed the weak grip of authoritarian regimes in poor countries that import grain, whether in North Africa today or parts of Asia tomorrow.
