Do you like to make things? Do you have friends or kids who like to make things? Then you want to know about the maker movement. To help and inspire you, this Thursday we will be joined by Dale Dougherty, the editor of MAKE, the leading magazine of the maker movement.

The maker movement grew out of DIY - "do it yourself." What started out as woodworking and home improvement took a new turn with the developments in computer technology, electronics and new tools like lasers and 3-D printers. The maker movement was a next logical development.
