Health Series: Antibiotics

What You Need to Know

With Drs. Sam and Mark Bailey

“Almost all drugs are poisonous. Many are venomous. Few are even temporarily admissible…. Were we not taught not to ‘think,’ the stupidity of swallowing or injecting noxious substances with a view to ridding ourselves of the consequence of wrong thinking and living would hardly need emphasis.”

  1. Jennifer
I am sure you have lots of good information to pass on to your listeners, however please let the Baileys do their thing! I tuned in to listen to the Baileys, not you.

  2. Are the pharmacology books good for a student earning a doctor of psychiatric nursing degree graduating in the fall 2025?

Do you have current information sources for the degradation of the nutritional values of whole foods such as vegetables, grains, seafood and animal food products? In the past I have seen scientific studies showing a major reduction in nutritional content in foods due to industrialized farming and environmental factors. Looking for current sources as this impacts decisions around the need for supplementation.

What lab tests do you recommend as having value for real markers of disease such as A1c, insulin testing (for early detection and prevention), cholesterol (for adequate levels vs what is recommended), vitamin D, B12 etc.

  3. Bravo! It is a joy to see Dr. Sam’s husband for the first time at Solari. What a perfect pair!
How fortunate we here at Solari are to have them both freely sharing their combined knowledge. Thank you for such a great series. And welcome to Solari Dr. Mark.

  4. This report explains why antibiotics make me violently ill. I only take them when the surgeon delivers them intravenously when I’m anesthetized, against my request. The germ theory too! I have tried to tell people about the fraud perpetrated at its inception. It is strengthening to have reports from medical practitioners who witness the harm. A link to Dr Sam’s video to share is great.

  5. I’m definitely NOT a fan of Mirando Castro and her work.

If you’re interested in a very reliable textbook on Homeopathic First Aid, please download Constantine Hering’s “Domestic Physician” (1845 English edition). It’s available on Archive.org.

    https://archive.org/details/cheringsdomestic00heri/page/n7/mode/2up

Hering’s “Domestic Physician” travelled west with the pioneer settlers and is the best first aid (also simple chronic prescribing) book ever written. It’s the Bible of homeopathic First Aid.

Hering is truly one of the greatest homeopaths that ever lived. He belonged to the venerable group of homeopaths who achieved a near 0% death rate in patients with pneumonia pre-antibiotic era (as well as other common infections diseases that had a very high mortality rate at the time: cholera infantum, cholera, scarlatina/scarlet fever (what we now call strep infections), diphtheria, typhoid etc…).

The book contains pull-out charts of the most common ailments according to the location in the body, from Head downwards. For example, on page 156 (page 188 on the download) is the Head section. Page 174 (206) is the section on the Eye, Page 275 (308) for the Stomach etc…

It is VERY easy to use, VERY clear, and VERY accurate. The charts are simply BRILLIANT.

I teach with this book when I give First Aid classes. The only downside to the book is that it does not contain the remedies that were discovered after 1845 (such as Kali-bi, Kali-p, Carbn-o, Apis etc). I do include those remedies in my classes.

The other option (if you want something on-line) is Homeopathic Housecall.

    1. Elizabeth,
There are so many books on homeopathy that it can be confusing to find a single resource that is useful to everyone.
I have found Miranda’s book to be helpful as a starting point for beginners but, it is not the only one people should read for sure!
I like your suggestions and will include them when we discuss homeopathy in a Health Series interview, coming soon…
Thank you for your knowledge and comments!
      -Jennifer
