The Big Downgrade
In this episode, John and Catherine dive into the significant long-term shifts in the financial markets, with a particular focus on Moody’s downgrade of the US’s AAA rating, marking the last of the major rating agencies to do so. They explore how this downgrade impacts the US economy, including its effects on household budgets and the shift towards a multipolar world in fixed income and equity markets.
They also delve into Donald Trump’s recent trip to the Middle East, highlighting the controversial multi-billion dollar tech deals made with Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar. They go into the implications of these deals on the merger of corporate and state powers and how they contribute to building a global control grid.
Additionally, they discuss various global political and economic issues, including the US’s involvement in the Yemen conflict and the rising cost of living for the average American. We also explore the developments in the bond market, credit card ownership, and the growing influence of stablecoins in the global financial system. Join us for an in-depth analysis of these crucial topics and more.

I didn’t notice until I saw an article today. Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill. BBB, sound familiar – Build Back Better. Are they telling us something?
Catherine, one of the real estate podcasts I listen to (it’s an agent-focused podcast) is talking about the 25 year housing boom we’re about to have because of demographics. Their reasoning is the millennial generation is the largest generation in history and is entering its prime home-buying years which will increase demand. They are also predicting that Trump will take Fannie and Freddie public again, and the companies will offer new mortgage products like not requiring a down payment and instead owning a percent of future equity should appreciation occur. I understand the argument around demographics although they aren’t factoring in the great poisoning or the millennial generation’s ability to purchase homes in the coming economic situation. It also seems like there is an expanded mortgage fraud play here. Your thoughts?
Can I please design Ms Cash a costume?!
Just thinking about Russia-Ukraine and the US having no plan for a peaceful solution. One thing you don’t mention which others like Scott Ritter does. Russia does not want to conquer and rule Ukraine. Remember Zbig giving Russia its own Vietnam in Afghanistan. What if the US plan is, by having no plan, to make Russia own all of Ukraine? A Ukraine never to be satisfied with being a Russian vassal state, constantly a thorn in Russia’s side.
If I were the secretary of state, I would say something like what Kennedy must have said to Krushchev. “You and I both want out of this mess. And we both want to look as good as possible while doing it. I understand you’re winning this hands down and going to keep what you’ve won so far. Could you stop where you are and let me tell my folks it’s a concession to me. And is there something off the books that I could do later for you?”
Since Trump is no JFK and has lied to Putin before, I wouldn’t blame him for telling Trump to go pound sand, but it’s about the only thing Trump has got.
On the other hand, I think Putin has put out a plan involving the UN for what to do after the war. Trump could do worse than to accept that plan. And probably will…do worse.
And somehow Blackrock and friends have to be kept from raping the supine body of what’s left of Ukraine.
I’d live to listen or watch, but im down to safe mode in networking where audio is disabled.
I’ve determined that just as there is a putative wall around ‘Heaven’, the red button can never be pushed in public.
also, they did eventually let me put up a website so I must be just an average doctor.
