Another help filled discussion and a lot of options where one is inspired to delve. I “got” that by reading a book I bought years ago…but never read…this would help me understand the basics of one of the ancient wisdom’s you two discussed. Your interviews always have a forward moving nugget for me. Thanks!
Thank you for this interesting interview. I still catch myself on the monorail soapbox train of modern diversity that is all but divers, but my life has become far more interesting since I delved in all matter of subjects dark, light and everything grey inbetween. CAF maintains this what she cals “buffet offering”. I am grateful she upkeeps that buffet offering, even if it is less popular in views and sometimes challenging, even for me. In the end it got me into books and ideas I would have never known nor experienced.
I am commenting on Metanoia Series: Introduction to Western Esotericism with Mark Stavich.
If you research “Mark Stavish on Aleistar Crowley” you will find Mark is a student in Crowley’s Thelema religion, which is very much connected to Satan. Having listened to Thomas Meyer and his knowledge of this being an age of Ahriman (Satan), I observed how Mark is very skillful at presenting a many leveled dark path with such “innocence”.
Hi Joanne,
In the Christian Bible, in the New Testament the word repent in Greek is mentanoia. It means to thoroughly change one’s mind in such a way he or she transforms their life for the better. Our guests offer valuable information on personal transformation, physical well being, spiritual insights and provide life affirming values we can use to empower ourselves to do good. We are attempting to help people live their best life and much of what is shared by our guests is based upon ancient spiritual and metaphysical wisdom and psychology that actually is the foundation of many of the world’s great religions.
Mr. Stavish is a student of ancient wisdom traditions and has authored many books on a variety of subjects in this field. Whether you agree with him or not, he is a researcher of ancient esoteric (which merely means hidden) traditions which have proven beneficial to humanity. We certainly are not promoting demonic or Satanic material.
Peace,
Junious
Greetings, Junious & Joanne! Thank you both for your replies. I appreciate hearing that nothing demonic or satanic is being promoted. I also, very much prefer to know about Mr. Stavish’s connection to Crowley’s Thelema religion before I listen to the interview. Thank you.
The interview is very broad, basically giving information and how it all works to study with them. My strongest sense is intuitive sensing which is how I felt into Mr. Stavish.. I have also come across many different forms of esoterica, I myself practiced vipassana meditation for many decades. The first time I saw a picture of Aleistar Crowley, my whole body felt repelled. A very evil being who harmed many intentionally. One of the popular decks of Tarot cards comes from Crowley and a woman who painted the cards. I am not trying to, in any way, put down any of the content Solari provides. Just take care with Stavish.
I think it is good to be wary and follow one’s intuition. But in order to know why Crowley could be a danger one has to be somewhat up to date what he is about. Too often it is just some “popularised” things the many get worried about when it is put in the box of “popular” good and evil.
Western society is building thru investments its prison society. Nobody bats an eyelid because investments is deemed good by the popular many! I think one can study anything by using head, heart and gut. Integrity together with knowledge counts in practising any magic whether that magic is spiritual and or technological.
A knife is a tool, I can use it to butter my bread or to kill something. I can weave ideology around the use, but in the end it is our individual properties we have developped that has to weigh what we do with the knife. Because Mr Stavish is associated does not equate to embracing. Esoterica can be dangerous as can many things.
I will give this a third and last try. I am finding this conversation turning into a bit of patronizing. Common when strangers are trying to have a serious conversation. Stavish knows and talks about egregores (yes I did a bit of research on what he believes and acknowledges). I will bypass Stavish for now and use the highest Tibetan Lamas/Rinpoches. There are some who bypass the vagaries reincarnation brings by teaming up with one they trust and when born the other is already mature and finds them and brings them where they are a Rinpoche, and is their teacher, then this person passes and the other one find them, etcetera. They have high abilities to keep track of each other, and when go to the most recent birthplace, they bring the babies past life items to help that baby remember. Egregore is a modern word that describes this .
But an egregore can be very wide and broad. Thelema and some of the other organizations Crowley was in is indeed ancient, with many of the Beings (both incarnated and behind the veil) having very high powers. Stavish came into this life well supported to continue this. Crowley is an obvious malevolent one, Stavish not (The Rinpoches go through many different incarnational personalities, depending on what is most useful for that time). I have no fear of this, but for me it is part of learning discernment. Satan is tricky, but very ancient and real. Just my two cents.
Open dialogue and debate are good. I suggest each one follow his or her intutition on this matter and delve into this subject if you so choose, with a prayer fortified mind. Again, it is not my intent to promote demonic material on this or any other platform.
Peace,
Thank you for your comments, Joanne. Even though I respect Solari and Mr. Stanton’s work to bring diverse voices the platform, there were several things Mark said that I found problematic and contradictory, even though I tend to approach esotericism with a curious mind.
