Hello Catherine and Carolyn,
The bible specifically warns against using mediums and astrologers as they are idolatrous. I can understand people gravitating toward these tools as we seem to have a need to “know” instead of trusting in Him. Our God is a jealous God but the warning is also because its not that the spirits aren’t real – it’s because they are real and a person can unknowingly open a door that invites in trickery, mixing truth with lies and demonic oppression.
I am currently in a bible study, the Book of Habakkuk, a book in the Old Testament so small it’s easy to overlook. Habakkuk is a profit who questions God on why He allows violence and evil, why does unlawful behavior go unpunished and without consequence and why do the evil people seem to win.
God answers Habakkuk telling him everyone will be judged, no one gets away with anything and that Habakkuk may or may not see the judgement. God goes on to explain to Habakkuk that God’s ways are not our ways. He sees everything from the end to the beginning.

One of the reasons I avoid astrology and various forms of prophecy is I believe hard work and good habits are more important and since I have plenty of room for improvement there, best to keep my focus on that. However, given the emphasis that the Masons put on astrology, I suspect the push on the Christian side to keep people in the dark about astrology may also have something to do with keeping us in the dark. That said, it is not on my list to try to figure it out.
First and foremost, thank you so much for “Ask Catherine.” There are always so many great questions and great, thoughtful answers. I learn so much in these Friday recordings including all that Solari has recorded and researched in the past.
I was listening to this recording this afternoon and paused it to find more information on the USS Hornet. It appears I have come across some good news! The project was halted! Glad to see pushback!
