Here We Go Again

Catherine Austin Fitts and John Titus frame the expanding Iran conflict as “COVID 2.0,” arguing it follows a template seen in Ukraine and Gaza: destroy infrastructure, then rebuild conditionally to embed Western financial rails, digital ID, and transaction control. They discuss Iran’s threats against major tech firms in the Gulf, reports of US bases being made uninhabitable, hypersonic missile impacts, fuel shortages and inflation, and concerns about market manipulation and insider trading tied to war news. The episode connects US legislative pushes (e.g., Clarity/Genius Acts), stablecoins, and tokenized markets to a broader move toward programmable money and 24/7 blockchain trading. They question ICE’s warehouse detention buildout, note deportations of Ukrainian men into military service, and highlight pressure from Stephen Miller in Idaho’s 287(g) fight.

  1. Empire Powered By Wishful Thinking
The US “oil reserve” is aging salt caves held together by optimism. Drain them for imperial cosplay, poke Iran, gamble with the Strait of Hormuz, then act shocked when insurers flee. Late-stage empire, sponsored by denial.

This, I think, is where Solari comes in.

This is not a “1997 Book” and these were not “predictions” this was how they were gonna kill us

  2. If someone has a stash of silver and cash and we move into a digital token system will this render the silver and cash redundant? If eggs are bought with silver can the silver from this purchase be used anywhere if the money system is tokenized? Do you sell your silver for tokens (stablecoins)? Same for cash, do you have to convert cash, via a bank, to tokens (stablecoins) to make purchases?

    1. Depends on who will trade using those things and what the efforts will be to buy up silver. The system will still want silver. However if there is no law, then in theory they can take everything. That is why the real protection is the Constitution and the basic laws.

  3. Sony announced that it’s suspending fulfillment of all orders for nearly its entire SD and CF express memory card product lines “due to the global shortage of semiconductors (memory) and other factors.”

This is not random. This comes on the back of consumer memory manufacturers announcing they will shift production to big expensive chips for GPUs — in other words, the big data centers.

What is happening is a shift at the semiconductor production level away from powerful consumer devices (laptops/desktop/cameras), towards cloud-only devices.

Soon there will only be “thin” devices that interact with cloud services that, like Sam Altman openly described, will be metered like utilities — because there won’t even be components available for consumer devices.

This pushes your data—your documents, photos, videos—into the hands of the technocrats, where it is surveilled, shared with intelligence agencies, and used to train their AI models — and ensures no one will be able to run powerful AI models locally.

They want to centralize and control everything.

This is how you are losing your #RightToCompute. Silently. Gradually. And Relentlessly.

    Build local.

    1. If I read the latest promotions correctly, Google’s TurboQuant software upgrade will enable LLMs (AIs) to run on much, eg 20% in size, smaller quantities of silicon.
I’ve looked for a writeup on how LLM/AI gets put together. I’ve finally found something that seems coherent in this linked article. Essentially, even if you have a bunch of VC, some smart people, and access to a few hundred high end GPUs, if you don’t know why you are building an AI, you may end up with a product nobody wants : https://huggingface.co/spaces/HuggingFaceTB/smol-training-playbook#training-compass-why–what–how

        1. Great Find, and much more broadly applicable to Economic Systems than the title suggests.

  4. I find it hard to believe that they would allow Israel to be on the menu. Are we operating with the notion that Mr. Global controls operations from the Iranian side too?

    1. Okay. But if Solari really holds the position that the West had control of Iran before the invasion, that makes Solari an outlier even in the alternative media. Not one other source that I’ve come across sees it that way.

      1. We are not taking the position that the West has control of Iran.

    2. Doubtful. They are still marching ahead with Greater Israel. Those who rule this world have that as their architecture. A world run out of Israel.

Hopefully Iran will stop this genocidal religion. Permanently.

          1. For chaos, to disrupt the food supply, to increase hatred toward the US and Americans, depopulation to name a few reasons.

  5. Hi Catherine,

Thank you for bringing ESC Substack to our attention. It is not often that you find such a perception shaping source of analysis. Very valuable

Feel a need to push back on the Covid analogy some. One way that the comparison of today’s Middle East conflict with Covid in 2020 falls short is that it is not the very highly coordinated, war-gamed, lockstep global operation that we saw back then. Quite the opposite.

It may well be similar in effect to Covid in some parts of the world, the example of Philippines you mentioned comes to mind. Had past contacts at the Philippines-based distributor of Sinopec refined petroleum products. As soon as China’s petroleum products export ban was announced, clear that trouble in Philippines would soon follow. But this is a local consequence and does not appear to be formally coordinated.

Much depends on how long the US military operation goes on and as stated earlier, there is a good bit of evidence to support a rapid wind down thesis.

    1. A question that comes to mind is could Asian Guy and ESC be performing a similar function on behalf of different rival mafia factions?

        1. Thanks for the question. Some items to ponder.

Who is above the Rothschilds or a Rival to them that might want to put a negative spotlight on their playbook for some reason.

Both Asian Guy and ESC are obviously well funded and staffed with research assets. Both are thus likely ops. To what end?

Both started with a higher percentage of known truth, have become more speculative and/or selective reporting is employed.

          And finally…

A major milestone on the path to enlightenment is realizing that Unlimited Hangout is in fact a limited hangout. Again to what end?

          1. Thank you again. Strong was a very busy dark Zelig back in his time. Obscure origin to Sudden (Rockefeller) Darling overnight parallels Epstein closely.

          2. Thank you for recommending the Meryl Nass video. OK, now sold on ESC’s sincerity and credibility. I first learned about Maurice Strong and the use of “sustainability” to drive an agenda toward global control at a presentation by Bill Coleman in the year 2000. This has been in the works for a long time.

On Asian Guy, stopped listening to the videos in mid-January once it became clear what was going on. The initial AG videos started out with some verifiable, better known facts and turned them to supporting a pump in silver. After an op like that, letting the channel go to chaff information isn’t surprising. Mrs L got a new car and nice kitchen update out of my interpretation of the op so there’s that. Maybe we got lucky. But I worked with some canny Chinese metals traders in the past and have watched the PM market price action daily for more than two decades now. Both aided in understanding.

          3. Yes. Always helps to understand what the pumpers and dumpers are up to.

          4. Every time I have fact checked Asian Guy it is is spinning as factual events and conditions that are not true – flat out hallucinations. I have yet to find ESC proposing lies as facts. Would value any examples you have. ESC has been publishing posts since June 2023 and is now up to 10,000+ subscribers with 15+ following. That is not a “sudden darling” pattern. ESC has done audio interviews with Jason Hursley and Mery Nass – you can check them out on their podcasts.

          5. Thank you again Tracy. Good questions.

Looks like the board’s limit of replies was reached with yours.

I’m not thinking about deciding who has too much in the way of research resources. My best criteria are who appears to be seeking truth, consistently over an extended timeframe, even when it runs against their apparent (financial) well being/interests, and will own up if they are in error. Yon and Wood are good sources in their realms of expertise. Believe Catherine is sincere on these criteria. If the intent is to run an intelligence service, it shouldn’t be an echo chamber so I’ll speak up now and again when my assessment diverges based on an eclectic career. And take my lumps if I’m wrong!

Another really good term that a somewhat wacky commentator uses for newcomers is “pop-up pundits”. If they come out of nowhere, are suddenly ubiquitous, and/or run a slick media op (with top shelf resources) their agenda should be immediately suspect. I compare the Asian Guy videos with the work of Mike Adams, for instance, who is funding his own AI production efforts (with some staff) and it is clear whoever is doing Asian Guy is in a much higher echelon of production value/resources. Asian Guy began late last year in support of a major pump and dump op in the precious metals markets, particularly silver. Some quant hedge fund and Chinese traders made bank while the bullion banks covered a lot of their paper short exposure. You have to know pretty deeply what you’re looking at to make sense of it and sort the wheat from chaff information. An important pattern to look for is the 80-90% valid initial info with curveballs thrown after trust is established.

It is possible ESC had a lot of material stored up. Seems to have British influence linguistically. What is ESC up to? Maybe the time has come to burn the Rothschilds as assets by higher-ups. Maybe a rival faction wants to bring them down or obscure their own agenda. Or may be totally sincere, time will tell. Reading through the essays has been valuable to me in absorbing the framework. It could also be that more than one faction employs the Roth’s playbook.

I slogged through the two One Nation Under Blackmail books and found them to contain a lot speculation about associations. Seemingly comprehensive speculation. Heard a comment recently noting that the books totally omit reference to Operation Gladio, an excellent observation. If the comprehensive speculative log books exclude a significant historic event associated with many of the players, it becomes a limited hangout. Leaving us to speculate about why.

            Happy Easter!

          6. How do we decide who has to much research assets? Michael Yon? Catherine? Patrick Wood? I am not being sarcastic, just looking for ways to objectively evaluate. Why do you call Unlimited Hangout a limited hangout.
Is it possible that Escape has been researching for years and just recently decided to start posting on Substack?
I like to ask the question: Where do they want me to go? What do they want me to think/believe? So … Where is Esc trying to herd us?

  6. Catherine, someone may have already asked you this, but could you please look into Prof. Jiang Xueqin on YouTube. His lectures are very entertaining and make a lot of sense. I believe he’s propped up by some powerful people or is likely on the payroll of an intelligence agency. What he says makes A LOT of sense and he did predict Trumps presidency and an invasion of Iran by US- Israeli forces. What you said about Kushner and other well connected people in the Trump administration turning Gaza into an independent zone of trade kind of like the City of London or Hong Kong in the ’50 is very interesting. I’m currently reading a book by Quinn Slobodian called Crack Up Capitalism which talks about how detrimental these zones are ordinary people in sovereign states by creating an economic race to the bottom. Perhaps our world will fracture and become more like Europe prior to the advent of nationalism in the 19th century? I know billionaires like Peter Thiel want to achieve this. Additionally, it is spooky to think all of the new ICE detention centers are potential cover for military draft centers. I just resubscribed after a couple years away and I’m glad to be back. Thanks
