Pushback of the Week: March 11, 2024: Government of Saskatchewan

“In addition to not collecting the carbon tax on SaskEnergy bills, the Government of Saskatchewan will not be remitting the federal carbon tax on natural gas that Saskatchewan families use to heat their homes. The Trudeau NDP Carbon Tax has been a disaster, driving up the cost of most everything, while doing nothing to reduce emissions. The real solution would be for Trudeau to scrap the carbon tax on everyone and everything. But until that happens Saskatchewan families won’t pay the Trudeau carbon tax on their household SaskEnergy bill and the federal government won’t receive those amounts from our government either.” ~ Dustin Duncan, Canadian politician
Our selection for Pushback of the Week highlights actions taken by the government of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. Premier Scott Moe shared a video on social media featuring the Honourable Dustin Duncan, Minister of Crown Investments Corporation, announcing that the province will not be remitting the federal carbon levy on natural gas.

Proud to be an Albertan. We’re the two provinces who are starting the pushback.

It is good to see some pushback. It would be good to see more information on how the money works with these carbon taxes to expose the scam that it is.
Basically the UN gives the right to large corporations to create carbon credits as a type of currency. Only those approved by the UN have the right to print these credit. Large landowners (i.e. the mega rich can print this just for having lots of trees etc.).
Then government created a tax for these credits which forces people to buy these credits from the rich people and big corporations with their actual money.
So it is a way for the very rich to directly tax everyone. The tax goes directly to them and not to any government services.

Scam? Oh my, that couldn’t possibly be the case.

The saga continues:
Could be the most important event going on up here.

Yup. Going to go right to the heart of taxation without representation. Can federal government create make believe stories to justify “made up” taxes.

Perfect case study of how a sovereign bank in ones jurisdiction would be useful. The federally regulated bank ( in this case Royal Bank ) holding the jurisdictions accounts is unlikely to shrug off the request from a domestic tax collection agency. A lot harder getting a sovereign bank to hand over the money… I am using this example to describe how it would be beneficial, hard concept to imagine if this is a new idea for someone.
