In The Archangel Michael he says the Catholic Church banned his writings and endorsed his critics. I did not know that.
The brief critique of Goethe there is fascinating. He says the good/evil duopoly is incorrect in context of evolution. When Michael cast down Lucifer, he was cast into the mind of men! Our mental/intellectual capacities he characterizes as luciferian, balanced against, and this is my most likely ignorant summary, the ahrimanian forces coming from below (math and geometry?), within each person, on the fulcrum of the christlike impulse. What an interesting structure!
