I’m so excited about the potential of this product! If it does what they say, this is HUGE on so many levels.
I have what I call a micro-farm in central Texas – growing veggies and recently added medicinal herbs. We only use natural methods (i.e. fingers to pick off the bugs), but we get biblical level grasshopper infestations every year in the summer. We were selling at a farmers market and gave that up due, mainly due to the limits the grasshoppers put on us. We refuse to put any chemicals on our land and the “organic” products don’t make a dent. I’ll be placing my order with Soil Saviors soon. Thanks for letting us know about this.
Let me know how it works!
Interesting interview. I came in contact with this methodology a decade ago under the name “biological” farming. It’s very different than conventional or organic. Soil sampling is a crucial component, it’s a focus on total soil health. The Biological Farmer, by Gary Zimmer, is a good read for the interested student. If anyone has more information regarding the 1992 Rio summit in a digestible form I would appreciate it. I understand several attendees wrote books identifying their concerns with the UN program.
Patrick Wood has described one of those books – Two environmentalist appalled at what they herd.
Excellent interview. We all should be involved, one household at a time. This is a vital issue that everyone should be passionate about.
Thank you for the inspiration for not only healing our soil, but also our bodies and minds concurrently.
We need any farm or land with a PFAS problem to know that there are solutions worth trying!

this is a written detailed interview about the man in video below Mark Shephard – just found this fyi while looking for the video below fyi. thank you.

this video was impressive
Excellent interview and insights – thank you
it reminded me of Dr Zach Bush MD
Dr Zach Bush MD has been speaking out for years in America about the soil
He started Farmers Footprint some time ago 2010
maybe Rich Roll podcasts with him
My apologies I am urban however
I seem to recall Dr ZB explained how difficult it was for farmers to break free from the community, their church and life, as it was awkward as all farmers in the community were taken care of by the fertiliser company and
I seem to recall Dr Zach Bush stepped in and started the organisation that supported a farmer who he convinced that it would be possible to change
I seem to recall that say the farmer’s father had a yield of 40 bushels the fertiliser company rep promised 50 bushels, and then once into the system the yields dropped and alas, the children of the farmer got physical side effects
This maybe why Dr ZB got involved
Anyway I am pleased to see there is a website fyi – lots of data, videos, and Dr Zach Bush MD is there
https://farmersfootprint.us/
I found NZ farmers footprint video on YT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lz3BOajydxQ
as well so maybe it has spread, just as CWF hopes the soil data will
Thank you.
Yes, Dr. Bush has been communicating the importance of soil for years.
I checked out the website.
Why do I have to sign a contract with religious overtones before being “initiated” into the association to know details about the product? What is ecclesiastical law? What is spiritual doctrine? Is this some secret society? It’s creepy.
Wonderful interview! These ideas are right up my alley! I am a big fan of his Die Mean Inc and his former career as a fighter.
Health of the soil (and ourselves) is our responsibility. I love the simplicity of the detox he uses. All of the ingredients make perfect sense.
I have sent this interview to everyone I know.
Thank you Catherine & Pat!

I am wondering if there are more ways for this complete soil recovery? We started a multiple acre Permaculture Farmstead 3 years ago. In researching ways to fertilize with something not industrially produced, because those processes use heat and pressure essentially killing all enzymes and bacteria we fell back on the ancestral ways of the local Native Americans. They caught fish from the Ocean, buried them, and planted their crops on top for the season– We took ocean fish cadavers from a fish restaurant added some of our sugar cane ( to kick off the fermentation process), and water. We stored them for a year to ferment. The result is a concentrated fermented fish liquid. It led to unexpected growth, no pests and vitality on our farm.
I wonder if our fermented fish could be analyzed somewhere, the University of Florida Agricultural Extension has no interest in it. It would be good to know why it works so incredibly well. Also it could add to our farm revenue if we could sell the product, since we have hundreds of gallons ready for use.
How wonderful. You might ask the folks at NOFA who might be able to help you analyze what is happening.
