Announcing the Over the Mountain Podcast with Frank Niceley!

At Solari, we have long been fans of Frank Niceley and his practical, forward-thinking, never-losing-hope approach to life. We’re proud to be sponsoring the Over the Mountain podcast to share Frank’s wisdom with those tuning in.

The podcast will cover a variety of freedom-centric topics, but its main focus will be on agriculture—how farmers can make money in today’s environment, how to protect themselves from things like conservation easements, how listeners can work with their legislators to safeguard agriculture in their state, and so much more. Frank spent 24 years in the Tennessee legislature working to protect small farmers and allow them to make a good livelihood—the true path to saving farms in the U.S.

Frank has said that “farmland is the new gold,” and we agree—land grabs and attacks on farmers’ ability to grow food and raise livestock in an ancestral, healthy way are critical parts of the agenda that farmers and all of us are up against.

The podcast title, Over the Mountain, is a nod to the Overmountain Men who helped change the tide of the Revolutionary War when it looked like all hope was lost. As a 7th-generation East Tennessean, Frank has ancestors who fought at that battle, and we believe that their spirit of perseverance in the face of steep odds is in his blood.
