Hi Catherine,
I have to say I love following your travels on twitter. I just imagine you getting a spiritual high off of the beauty and that gives one to me.
I don’t know if you watched the president’s speech at his rally in West Virginia. I’ve learned watching a Trump event that isn’t highly televised is very interesting. He tends to drop little nuggets in the make America great again rhetoric. This one intrigued me.
WV being a coal mining state is riding high the deregulating the industry. The crowd was super excited. On the topic of alternative energies Trump said in times of war solar, wind, and even pipelines are destructible but coal will never be. Then he said something really interesting, that he’s working on a military plan using coal…? Why a military plan? Coal still needs to be dug out of the ground like any other resource. Why is it so necessary?
The rest of the speech which was an hour long making his sales pitch.
Do you have a clue why coal?
No. I don’t. I wonder if we are going to revist coal gasification.
Huh, I know nothing about coal gasification.
If you are interested here’ the speech, He starts talking about coal at 3:39 and its only 2 mins long.
