IRS May Delay April 15th Tax Deadline; Mnuchin Eyes $200 Billion In Liquidity Through Delayed Payments
https://www.zerohedge.com/personal-finance/irs-may-delay-april-15th-tax-deadline
What does this mean?
Impossible to tell until we see who is eligible for a delay. My advice is to make sure to file and pay by April 15 – of if you file an extension make sure your FBAR/FACTA filing is done.
Would not surprise me if they were worried about a tax strike.

Is it working now? Just saw a message from our IT team to developer about fixing issues for returning customer.

I have never felt more anxious and waiting for any Money and Market as this coming one.
Tonight; the travel ban from US to Europe. I’m wondering if I should try to get on a plane to France before the cutoff. (I have a place to stay there 3 hours from Spain).
It would take everything as I would have to call out at work, get my dogs vet visit and USDA papers (only possible because I am near the regional office) and get on a plane before midnight.
If I knew it was the right thing I would do it. But I don’t know and there’s no time.
Catherine, you’re presumably still in Europe. Will you just stay?
I am not scheduled to return until 4/24. If they extend the ban, I will stay until I can return. We am scheduled for numerous events in May and June that I would hope to meet. My guess is this is a prototype – so it will ease over the summer. To the extent they need to keep the bans going to manage inflation and the trade deficit and slam the oil price to keep the dollar liquid, it could extend.
I’m so confused— is it a ban TO Europe, from Europe, or both? I haven’t been able to find any official government guidelines on this.
Ugh. Fog of war?

I have not been so full of anticipation for this coming Money and Market.
I hope, Catherine, you like Europe if you are stuck here. If you have a lot of EU subscribers you can visit them all. Jokes aside I wish you well in those troubled times.
Alexandra:
Stavoren is wonderful – quite happy here. Not sure about what to do with my trip to Switzerland on Monday!
