  1. Catherine and John,
thank you very much! Great show as always.
By the way, I haven’t been watching TV in 15 years and basically never listened to the radio. I don’t even have TV/satellite reception at home. Even if I wanted to, I couldn’t watch TV. In this context I am raising my kids and also my wife does not watch TV. We have our 2-3 internet news channels (my favorite is Solari and I am grateful for having found you guys).

  2. Hi Catherine, thanks for another insightful article.
Just FYI in Imperial Rome slaves had at least some protection under the law after a prohibition was passed making it illegal to feed a slave to wild beasts for the entertainment of your guests.

  3. Thanks for your Money & Mkt report this week CAF and John. Tough subject matter. Regarding bio labs in Ukraine, it would have been interesting to see if there were any wide spread health issues, particularly respiratory ones, to assess whether there were “experiments” with bio toxins going on there during the past few years. But, alas, with hospitals being bombed there goes any half way decent health records. The first thing I thought of when the shriek o meter news feeds showed a bombed out hospital on their news feeds from Ukraine was that no doubt that happened in order to eliminate health records and no doubt the US is somewhat relieved…

  4. Catherine,

Thank you for your summation of Martin Armstrong. I have told people the same thing you shared on your Q & A and some agree and some think he is a great guy, yet you shared that when you gave your viewpoint on him, he threw you off his email list the next day.

Yeah, I use to live 25 minutes away from his moms house where he was living after everything that happened to him, I tried to build a relationship with him and it was like, if I am not paying him for his black box Socrates prediction, he is not interested in talking to me. This is not what he specifically told me, but its what I gathered over the years, at first I thought he was being cautious, I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but now I think its just I am a nobody and the only use he has for a nobody is to pay him for Socrates.

As a small business owner, I have found its better to build a business by being sociable and relatable, but ok.

What a way to build allies after all that he has supposedly been through. So anyway, I share the same thoughts and feelings as you.

    1. Luis:

For many years, I found that he and I agreed on many big picture trends – dollar, stock market, etc. I do feel he understands the financial markets.

Nothing wrong with someone wanting their business to go.

      Catherine

  5. This discussion about the Ukraine with Karel van
Wolferen is the best ever. Thanks! Also, my apologies for PayPal, auto renew surprised me, I’ll send you cash later if you don’t get it. During this time I’ve been walking my father to the threshold. You know, he was in the California Controller’s and Treasurer’s offices, his real job at age 44, 1975 to 1996, after training by Cornell Gov’t, USAF Psychological Warfare, Yale Law, General Dynamics, Harris Upham Eastman Dillon; it all came together for the benefit of California. Power is for service because God is Love. He came through intact. And Catherine, don’t gloat, remember to pray for Divine Mercy even for the chew toys.

    1. Yes, good point. I believe that God can save and use anyone for his good.

  6. Regarding the WSJ article about CV19 and Ukraine funding, first paragraph the anchoring bias in the second paragraph the composition/division fallacy …so the Democrats blocked the Covid money take back but the democratic leader of the house was very disappointed…uh? Oh wait that’s how DC works perhaps
