  3. Sport : No doubt most people here will have seen the reports of Rafael Nadal (one of the world’s top tennis pros) suffering physical problems at the weekend. On Monday, the sport of cycling was hit hard:

    Sonny Colbrelli won the European Championships last year in a really really tough race, (which in Pro-cycling terms is not far from a World Championship win, cycling being essentially a European-centric sport). The last time (I’m aware of) a “heart-event” in a world class cycling race was in April 2018 when Belgian rider Michael Goolaerts collapsed and died. The difference between these two disasters is that in 2018, Goolaerts was riding his first ever cycling “Monument” for a second division team. Virtually no rider with this opportunity would turn-down a start at Paris-Roubaix. He crashed about 100km into the 257km race and the autopsy said it was a heart attack. In contrast, Colbrelli wouldn’t have been under too much pressure to ride on Monday. He sprinted to second place on the stage (after 171km at an average of 45kkph !!!), then collapsed. Apparently he’d been ill recently with Bronchitis, but he would have had to have had two negative C19 PCR tests in the past few days to even start the race. I’ve been involved with cycle racing since 1980, and I’ve never seen anything like this before.

    It continues: On Sunday, at the first of the season’s 5 single-day “Monument” races, teams were struggling to field a full team. (This would be like Manchester United Football team starting a match without a full team). There’s never a shortage of riders who want to start this race, but at German World-Tour Team “Bora”, and the teams incur a financial penalty if they don’t field a full squad:

    The infirmary at Bora is currently larger (with 19 injured or ill professionals) than the operational racing squad of only 11 men. But that is also a pattern this spring. Other racing teams also have massive failures.

    1. unfortunately every govt in the world supports the technocratic approach to governance. i think the fight is about who controls the system rather than a true difference of philosophies….so there are just two bad guys fighting it out, with normal people getting squashed in the process and the winners being the first losers.

      maybe your social score will improve if you attend a church service, or maybe your social score will suffer if you do. but you will get a social score nevertheless.

      put another way, which mafia cartel do you prefer to control your neighborhood? no matter what happens, it’s bad news for the average person.

      1. Slavery might be one of the targets but playing God is quite another philosophy. Both can use technocratic governance techniques. I don’t see those agenda’s as the same nor the outcome.

        Oppression via technology is bad enough the other seem a drive to total nihilism of life. Oppression a person can fight, rearanging life thru DNA and other essential building blocks is a problem of an other magnitude. I don’t see humanity tackling this problem without Devine help and intervention!

        So no, I don’t think every government is using the same script and philosophy.

      1. There is no unitary “Deep State”. There are countless competing factions within any organization, including any hypothetical organization that spans countries and continents.

        To the extent that any “NWO” describes possible futures, it would be simplistic to imagine a unitary construct. A more realistic structure would be the portfolio of investments by a venture capital firm, each in support of a possible future, with some futures overlapping and some competing, but with the mathematical certainty that most investments (and thus possible futures) will fail.

        Those who have worked in large organizations, public or private, understand the enormous gulf between strategic visions and tactical execution. They also understand that history consists of long periods of incremental progress, punctuated by short bursts of unpredictable competitive change with non-linear outcomes resulting from relatively small, but well-timed actions.

        The biggest mistake being made by (“alleged”) resistance movements is to outsource the definition of threat models to their adversaries. Even using adversary-defined words like NWO creates a conceptual, Hegelian trap. We are better off creating our own visions of positive futures, and using non-adversary glossaries and terminology when developing threat models of perceived adversaries.

        We are constantly being divided-and-conquered … why do we insist on unifying our adversaries? They are also divided. Until we can inventory those divisions at a very granular level, we cannot triage a shortlist of organic divisions that may support or discourage specific futures. Where there are organic divisions, there is potential fuel for external intervention — to discourage some futures and encourage others.
