      1. I googled “slaughterbots” and found this on Ecosia among other things:

Slaughterbots is a 2017 arms-control advocacy video presenting a dramatized near-future scenario where swarms of inexpensive microdrones use artificial intelligence and facial recognition to assassinate political opponents based on preprogrammed criteria. The video was released onto

      1. Rich, Thank you for the update and the link! It is good news that the facility will be up and running soon. Too often we get the news, but not the follow-up information that tells the damage after it has been properly assessed.

  1. Let me start out by saying I am a huge fan of money and markets and I’ve been a subscriber for multiple years. That being said, every time you speak of crypto currencies I cringe and want to dispute. Not because I’m biased, but because The opinions formed off of the information you share shows your lack of knowledge and understanding in the space.

Maybe it’s time for me to start commenting. So at least for this week, every single cryptocurrency exchange has halted withdrawals multiple times. Everyone of them!
The opinion or Theory that is shared is Null and void if you know this.

I listen/watch every money and markets podcast. From this time forward I will start commenting on the cryptocurrency space, which you appear to be lacking info.

    Love All that you do,
    Sincerely, Paul

    1. Any thoughts on UCC Article 12 (“controllable electronic records”), https://www.clearygottlieb.com//news-and-insights/publication-listing/ucc-digital-asset-amendments-finalized

“… an entirely new article – Article 12 – dealing directly with the acquisition and disposition of interests (including security interests) in “controllable electronic records,” which would include Bitcoin, Ether, and a variety of other digital assets. Under Article 12 and associated amendments to Article 9, a party may perfect a security interest in certain controllable electronic records by obtaining “control” of such records.”

There’s a potential connection with Alison McDowell’s reporting on human capital assets and blockchains.

    2. Paul, you may find this story of interest. Mr. Anderson is a colorful character who meets up with some powerful people along his improbable journey while incorporating the story of the origin of Bitcoin, etc. The lead-in is startling, but keep going for the ride. Since it’s an interview, he gets interrupted at the start, but then he’s allowed to take the reins. In the comment section, if you find him credible, you can find his one-hour story version uninterrupted. https://www.bitchute.com/video/e8pakbp995mi/ I’ll be interested to hear what you think since you offered to be our official commentator going forward.

  2. Hi Catherine, my humble request to you would be to stop advising people to leave California. One, its a fallacy that they are going to escape the agenda in the long term. A move is temprary at best and in fact taking people who have the ability to fight off of the Western front only weakens the entire Country. 2. Running doesn’t solve anything. In fact Californians who are too weak to fight here, only focused on putting their kids in the indoctrination camps that show your kids porn and are run by the same Federal government. The school are not different in Texas or Tennessee. Those Who want to “just go on living their lives” while ignoring the gigantic elelphant that is progressing from both coasts inward only harm and damage the people who have lived in these states for decades. The people in the heartland are wholly unprepared for the hordes of Californians and New Yorkers who bring these coastal values, attitudes and inflated real estate dollars with them and end up destrying these communities by inflating real estate and continuing to be inactive in policing their public servants. As a lifelong Californian, I say STAY IN CALIFORNIA, stay and neutralize the cancer. Never run. Learn the law and your rughts, learn how to nullify and stop things at the point of enforcement. Do your civic duty and stand up here. At the very least, do not be disillusioned that your going to move and keep your freedom. The wolf is at your door. I heard you Catherine say in an interview that the harassment against you had increased even in Tennessee and your move to the Netherlands was in part to alleviate that. The Tennessees Governor loves his executive orders just like the other 50 tyrants, ones that include quarentine camps. All 50 govenors shut fown their States. ALL. I know what you say, these camps are uneconomic and yet my guess is thay every state has provided for them. Its an illusion that there is anywhere to go here. Stand and Neutralize.

    1. Catherine:

I understand your point. I agree the problem is everywhere. Yes it makes sense to fight it where you are. However, California is getting more and more dangerous. I closed my business there in 2014 and except for brief visits have not been back. I think the risk in California is significantly higher than in Tennessee, Texas, Idaho, South Dakota, especially if you have a small business.

So I do believe that for most people in California, would be better off leaving the state. Given what I know of you and your circumstances, you very well may be much better off staying. Big issue is schools and how to handle education and health care for the kids. Since kids can grow up a lot in 5-10 years, moving to Oklahoma now has a much better chance of buying them more years with a better lifestyle at lower costs without vaccine mandates and less risk of drag queen shows. The push to transgender them is on the digital systems everywhere – so everywhere has major risks when you put your kids on the digital systems.

      Hope that helps,

      Catherine

      1. Thanks Catherine, I agree that there are dangers here, but these dangers are going everywhere if they aren’t stopped here. I have learned many things as a result of staying and fighting, including how to nullify and stop unjust policies at the point of enforcement. The amount of personal freedom that arises from that alone is a gift. If we look at the bigger picture strategically for the country, at minimum California is a major player in our food system. There is a reason why whatever nefarious push is behind this has targeted this area heavily. If they can capture the water and agricultural resources of California, they can move and capture the remainder of the country. Losing California in any way is a harm to all. The policies that they enforce here, spread everywhere. An incredible amount can be done at the local and County levels. There are tons of resources out their. http://www.tacticalcivics.com is a great place for people to start.

Thank you for all you do. I have been far more equipped to navigate what’s going on having the excellent information you provide. I’ve been a subscriber since 2017 and I will continue to be.

        1. Hi Catherine B! I want to learn more about California agriculture. My starting position is this: I think it would be great for industrial agriculture to seriously decline in California, not suddenly and not by coercive means of course. Just looking at the stats: Ag sells $50 B/yr, but a full $20 B of that is in exports. Why do I want our precious water going to almond etc. farmers exporting to China? I want the organic component to increase over time to 100%, and it is pleasantly surprising to see it booming at $12 B/yr already. I’m open to hearing any arguments and views on this.

    2. Not all 50 governors shut down their states.I believe there were 5 that didn’t.

However, I agree she shouldn’t encourage Californians to move, and not just because the rest of us are sick of them ruining our communities. it’s also because that’s what tptb want. CA is to become a sparely populated wonderland for the “elite” and their slaves oops i mean servants.

      1. Thank you, I remember now that South Dakota was one that didn’t, but I don’t remember others. Strategically California is a our bread basket and our Western shores. The rest of the country needs California to stand strong to defend our agricultural industries at the very least, but if we don’t defeat the Nothing here, it will spread.

        1. Everyone has to fight and stand in the place that is best for them to do so. I have found for each person it is unique. I have also found myself giving highly opposite jurisdiction or investment advice in the same day based on highly varied fact patterns.

    3. Seconded and ditto for New York.

For inspiration, watch the TV series “Turn: Washington’s Spies”, set in British-occupied NYC during the Revolutionary War. Good illustration of families being divided on whether or not to support the American Revolution. From the creator of the TV series “Nikita”. A very small number of humans made a material difference.

  3. What is the movie of the year award? You said “remake of 18.” Please help me find your review on Solari. Thanks

  4. Fascinating as always. Hoping you and John could do a special on “Local Currencies”. I’m looking for a couple of books on it. I’ve read about Ithaca dollars, and Joseph mentioned once the old Farmers’ dollars. Hoping to get more knowledge about the topic. July 2023 isn’t far off. Also, I wanted to come to Knoxville but am helping a friend with the People’s Bank. Investing in people is wonderful. Have a great time at the meet-up!!
