  1. Dear Catherine,
Your “quantum” comments really made me smile. I finally got to see two real “quantum computing devices” the other week, having befriended a guy who has the unenviable job of bringing one of these devices to life. Maybe the math is enticing, but at the end of the day there has to be useful hardware. The machines I saw weren’t working, even after several years of effort, and even if they do ever work, they would only contain a maximum of maybe 20 Qbits. Moreover, I can’t imagine the magneto-optical trap technology being scalable to any significant extent, or fast. Even my friend said that these machines weren’t ever going to be very useful. He also said that there’s a dearth of people willing to work on the hardware because progress is always measured in years and it’s difficult to build a research career on only a couple of journal publications. Thus, most work is just simulations. i.e. a normal computer pretending to be a quantum computer. My conclusion was that these things are just interesting and very expensive research experiments, propped up by large amounts of marketing hype. Of course, I’d be more than happy to revise my opinion if someone could demonstrate a working machine, but I’m not holding my breath.
    Regards,
    Nick

  2. What’s the name & composer of the beautiful classical piano piece that opens & closes the presentation?

    1. it is shown in the video:
Bach, Sinfonia in C major, BWV 787
      by Randolph Hokanson

      1. The choice of music is perfect. It’s like that little moment of closing your eyes and mentally focussing on what is about to come. I love Bach, (and would love to be able to play like this).

  3. Dear Catherine and John, Many thanks again. I would just like to share that a wonderful group of people in India have started a movement called Awaken Indian Movement and are doing stupendous work in creating awareness and to stop forced coercion, mandates and are fighting the covid cult narrative. Cases filed in courts too. The narrative is now crumbling and more and more of my compatriots are awake. I am sure somehow the good work you are doing is making its way around the world. Many thanks a million.

      1. Thank you. Infact, I see a link to your planet lockdown video in the blogs section of their website. It just goes to show what can be done if good people joined hands together. I truly appreciate what you bring to this world. Thanks again.

  4. The discussion of privitizing public assets, such as corporations owning public parks, municipalities, etc. Makes one connect the dots on why there have been so many wildfires in the Amazon in the last couple of years. Looks like privitizing companies are getting prepared for ownership of those lands.
