  1. Money & Markets takes its standard 3rd week pause of the month and war tragically breaks out! Luckily for us, thanks to you, we were prepared for anything with the Going Direct. This week should be a “whopper doozy” as the great Dr. Farrell always says. So looking forward to your insights, as always. Thanks.

  2. CAF:

Please discuss w/ John this week your speculation of a possible abrupt CBDC-system rollout amidst the Ukraine mess. John & you discussed BIS Innovation Hubs begun back in July 2020. Sporadic reports seem to suggest a rollout is at hand. Corey Lynn may be picking up things here. Many thanks, J

    1. Most countries don’t yet have a legal foundation for CBDCs.

Most larger countries don’t have the tech infrastructure in place for CBDCs. China did, thanks to WeChat and ubiquitous cashless payments.

Bahamas (former UK colony) physically offshore of US was small and had a mature banking system, enabling CBDC pilot.

  3. I am hearing of people going for #4 and not doing well at all.

    It really is Russian Roulette.

    1. To infer properties of black-box injections, we will need lots of metadata: zip codes, demographics, batch numbers, LTE/5G maps, geo-engineering history of the region, state/city debt, local industries or companies which are in the space/biotech/defense supply chain, etc.

Russian Roulette at least offers six out of seven chances of survival.

    2. Walked into the sauna earlier this week, one middle aged, one more senior gentleman, both naked except for the elder was wearing a mask. As I walk in I heard the older guy ask his friend “So you got the fourth?” I thought to myself, OK they’re talking about the jab. But then, this guy’s friend responded “yep just got it. gonna get a fifth next month.” A fifth jab?!? Maybe they’re talking about something else. Except then the older gentleman said “wow, I’ve never heard of anyone getting a 5th.” To which the friend said “Yea well my doctor said he would prescribe it, I just don’t wanna get sick. After my fifth I’ll wait until next year and just do it yearly.”

The more senior gentleman — who was wearing a mask — was surprised, but then took the opportunity to announce his intent to never take the mask off, because he liked not getting sick and was hoping to keep the streak going.

I wish I could say I embellished this story. 100% true

      1. Jaw dropping story. I would have left too. It is not safe to be in their company not only are they entirely malleable mentally but also there is the shedding question. Remarkable. I wish you could say you embellished this story also. Shuddering here.

I just had a thought… with the lack of oxygen caused by the mask these guys brains are gone. Sad story.

        Breathe deeply.

      2. If the stories about shedding are true, you might want to visit the sauna at off hours.

  4. I just want to point out that Ukraine, where some of my ancestors are from, is the same country who has bribed the Biden administration, in addition to those received from China. I do not support the invasion, nor any violence in this matter, but they are obviously not straight players.

Another thing I want to associate is the apparent targeting of “biolabs” and the background story that “Ukraine is the breadbasket of the world,” etc. If Putin is a GMO opponent, then it makes sense that he wouldn’t want his own crops infested with non-GMO seeds from such labs. The winds are westerly from Ukraine to Russia’s own farmlands.

It doesn’t seem likely that bioweapons per se are the products of these businesses. It does make sense that you would need a number of distribution points for the coming planting season if you wanted to promulgate ersatz seeds. I have also heard that two or three “grain ships” have been sunk. Makes one say, “Hmmm.”

    1. Thanks for the remind.
Those people are under malicious psychological attack for a long time.
Pray Marrhew Lawrence Perna finds his rest he deserves.

  5. There are many good points in this text and 9-min video, but it’s potentially a “whataboutism” mind-control vehicle to convince Western populations that they are guilty of destroying their own democracies, since they historically accepted the fruits of poisoned labor from non-democratic states.

This allows the Ukraine crisis to continue the Covid destruction of nation-state citizens’ trust in elected representatives and journalistic sense-making, which wasn’t high pre-Covid. Loss of trust in human representatives lays the groundwork for world government by AI, smart contracts and crypto-finance, with a rise of smart city human mayors as the public face.

  6. So if china decides to invade Taiwan, what’s the odds of the US getting involved? Wouldn’t the US step in to defend the dollar?

Can the dollar survive as the worlds reserve currency if china takes Taiwan?

    1. Look at the recent failure of the Nvidia-Arm merger, where (a) Arm China “went rogue” and (b) US-based Nvidia had months of access to Arm for pre-merger due diligence. Arm-based chips are in every phone. Is the end result that some UK Arm IP has also been shared/forked with US and China?

TSMC (Taiwan) is building plants in Arizona and the EU. Recent graduates of TSMC are now in Taiwan for 18-months paid cultural and technical training, before they return to US mainland to operate the TSMC fab. TSMC expertise is being shared/forked with US and EU. Presumably China already has close ties.

What’s the long-term result? Key technology and financial pillars are being duplicated across blocs of a future multipolar world. Subsequently, they can compete and diverge from this common starting point. Are these expensive exercises in duplication an indicator of future poli-tech-fin-bio borders?

      1. of course they are. since industrial capacity benefits from economies of scale, a financial question would be, if this tech industrial capacity is duplicated or triplicated in, say USA / asia / europe, what will the financial effects be? assume raw materials will go up as multiple producers compete for the same materials, while the end products would be in over supply and hence sold at no profit or even below cost. the supply demand for these products would be outside of laws of typical supply / demand.

and then you get to the question, which population can subsidize the losing industries the longest.

its almost a 1984 type result where the living standard of the population declines in support of a never ending war effort.

and the winners are those whose corporate champions turn out to be the best at producing products of digital slavery.

        1. If smart cities ever became real, the demand for semiconductors could far exceed anything that exists today, at least for the initial build-out. For smart cities in competing “empires”, it may be beneficial to have different silicon foundations. E.g. Starlink poached Broadcom engineers to build their own custom silicon for Starlink satellites, instead of buying existing chips from Broadcom.

So yes, a multi-polar world would have reduced economy of scale for end products, and increased competition for raw material inputs. Perhaps such things matter less in a centrally planned economy with unlimited digital fiat for control and incentives. There is also a slow but steady push for “right to repair” legislation in both the US and EU, which could nudge the consumer electronics industry away from planned obsolescence and frequent hardware upgrades.

I don’t quite understand the simultaneous push towards “centralized world government” and multipolar empires. Is multi-polarity just a phase before a new and larger unipolar world, controlled by the winner of the multi-polar conflict?

    2. READ “UKRAINE IS THE FINANCIAL WATERLOO OF THE WEST”
THERE IS A LOT GOING ON!!
ALSO ANYONE SUGGEST A RELIABLE PLACE TO DONATE FOR THE UKRAINE CAUSE&EVACUATION EFFORTS?
PRAYERS GOING OUT TO THOSE SUFFERING ALL OVER INCLUDING OURS HERE

      1. My best friend is Ukranian, in CA, and is sending $$ to her niece who is distributing it to about 20 families there for food and warm clothes. Let me know if you want to connect with her.
