Today is Solari’s birthday.

We started operations on March 22, 1998. I was sitting in a beautiful mansion in Washington staring at a blank piece of paper as most everyone I knew told me my life was over and my situation was hopeless. I wrote down my dream on one piece of paper and concluded selling the mansion to finance that dream was a fine investment. Which just goes to show that something that seems like the worst thing that ever happened can turn out to the best thing that ever happened.

So, Happy Birthday, Solari, and special thanks to you, dear reader, for your support which has made it all possible.

  1. Here’s to the power of intention and dream in the waking world! I’m so happy to be a part of it. I agree with Shannon above and Solari has inspired me to dream more, too. Thank you!

  2. May your prosperity continue to thrive for many years. I, too, get the larger portion of my weekly news from your Blog. I read your Dillon Read book, and knew I had found an independent info website I could count on for the truth. I praise to your courage and integrity.

  3. Dear Catherine,
The information, guidance and inspiration I find at Solari help me to make sense of the world in a way no other website does. You couldn’t know how things were going to turn out when you looked at that blank piece of paper, and I am so grateful you took what must have been a very scary risk. I have no doubt the others who visit here feel the same way. Whenever I feel frightened to take the next step in my own life (or when I’m not sure what it is), I remember your enormous courage in creating this community, and am heartened.
Congratulations, and may you celebrate for decades to come….

  4. Congratulations for sure!! A blank piece of paper can be the start of many dreams-and we are lucky that Solari was one of them. Great books, plays, poems,Declarations, Manifestos, budgets, paintings -they all start with a blank piece of paper. We are glad that you decided it was a good investment.
