In the current era of weaponized science and cultural programming that encourages people to be passive and incurious (“trust the science”), Dr. Gerald H. Pollack stands head and shoulders apart, epitomizing the kind of curiosity-driven research that changes paradigms. (The Pollack Lab website characterizes the lab’s atmosphere as “free thinking” and “welcoming fresh ideas.”) Even better, Dr. Pollack has the gift of being able to explain his far-reaching insights in a way that non-scientists can understand.
Dr. Pollack, who was Solari Hero of the Week in 2024, is particularly well known for his groundbreaking discoveries about water. As Future Science Series host Ulrike Granögger wrote in her fascinating report on water, it was “the meticulous execution of experiments and the professional expertise of Dr. Pollack and his team that led to a breakthrough publication describing how cellular water forms a liquid crystal lattice”—or what has become known as the “fourth phase of water.”
Unfortunately, just as Dr. Pollack’s new and equally adventurous book, Charged, is hitting bookstores, this widely admired investigator and thinker has suffered a stroke. For those who are so moved, the World Water Community (WWC)—an “online gathering place that ignites a global community on behalf of water”—is convening a 15-minute healing circle for Dr. Pollack on Thursday, October 30.
Visit the WWC event page for details on when and how to join. Even if you cannot join the healing circle, your prayers for Dr. Pollack’s recovery can make a difference.
