Throughout the history of comedy, the comedians who have stood out the most—figures like George Carlin come to mind—have used humor as a tool to speak truth to power.

In an early June episode (#447) of the Tim Dillon Show, comedian Dillon was unafraid to tackle head-on the Trump administration’s build-out of a control grid and the prominent yet “shadowy” role played by Palantir.

Describing the DOGE team’s “grabbing [of] sensitive information” from government agencies, the hundreds of millions awarded to Palantir to “compile a list of everything you’ve ever done,” and the overlap between DOGE and Palantir personnel, Dillon rhetorically asked, “Does that sound like the deep state is going away?”

Dillon also noted the actions taken to facilitate the merger of data across federal databases, warning: “Pay attention! Health. Taxes. Financial information…. This has got to be stopped dead in its tracks.”

In a clip from his show (18:35-21:00) posted on X, Dillon predicted that the deep state is going to start “purchasing” influencers, podcasters, and YouTubers, suggesting that those who allow themselves to be bought off will start casting the Palantir list in a positive light and marketing it as a “good idea.” They will say (25:16),

“What’s so bad about somebody knowing everything you’ve ever done? And that person being the CIA. Why don’t you want the CIA knowing everything you’ve ever spent money on or contributed to or eaten or every disease you’ve ever had?”

Dillon noted his distrust of “tech people” who say one thing but generally mean another. In the clip on X, he added, “If you don’t have any reservations about Palantir taking everyone’s information…, I don’t know if I can trust you.”
