This week, we celebrate Jon Rappoport for his trailblazing role as one of the fathers of the New Media. Thirty-five-plus years ago, Jon began bushwhacking a pathway through the Old Media fog—powerfully, creatively, and often humorously—and then turned around and educated and trained many of the independent voices who followed, including Catherine.

Jon’s recurrent dissections of propaganda and the crimes of the medical-pharmaceutical-psychiatric cartel are perhaps what he is best known for, beginning with AIDS in the 1980s, but his hallmark ability to use logic and cut to the heart of the matter has led him into many other topic areas. Recent posts on Substack have covered territory including AI, government secrecy, fake bird flu, the Internet of Bodies, new drugs like Ozempic, the transgender op, MAHA contradictions, judiciary corruption, and conflicts of interest such as the $203,738 earned by Attorney General Pam Bondi in 2024 when she served “of counsel” to Pfizer.

Jon’s many interviews at the Solari Report never grow stale. Over the years, he and Catherine have tackled subject matter ranging from false epidemics and “vaccine terrorism” to school shootings, pedophilia, space, spiritual warfare, and—reflecting his keen interest in the power of imagination—the contributions of artists like William Blake and Leonardo da Vinci.

In a recent post discussing his friendship with Catherine, titled “In these dark times, Catherine Austin Fitts is a bright flame,” Jon wrote:

“In the year 2000, when I put my Royal portable typewriter aside, and allowed myself to be dragged kicking and screaming on to some new thing called the Internet, one of the first words that came out of my keyboard, without even thinking about it, was IMAGINATION. I’ve never stopped using it since…. It’s a silver bullet and a stake in the heart of hopelessness. Catherine just reminded me of that, too. It’s so simple it’s ridiculous. You don’t like what’s around you? Imagine something better, and then go hell for leather inventing it and making it fact in the world.”

The best way to draw attention to Jon’s signature writing style and humor is to share a handful of quotes from his recent articles:

• Commenting on the stolen medical records of millions of patients: “But don’t worry. The government will protect patients’ medical data. Sure. Uh-huh. Yeah.”
• Writing about implanted and wearable medical devices that are “grabbing data inside people’s bodies”: “People are signing up to be spied on, ‘for their own good.’”
• Describing one of the government’s favorite cover stories: “Virtually every societal problem can be pawned off on mental health.”
• Questioning the euphoria about the promised lowering of drug prices: “The real issue has been and still is: so many people on so many poisonous drugs.”
• Commenting on transgender insanity in a post titled “Free genitals in Canada”: “See, ‘normally,’ this guy would have the surgeons make a vagina for him FROM his penis. But he wants to wind up with both genitals intact. Apparently, that can be done. Don’t ask me how. A penis is made from his nose? From a bratwurst? The point is, it’s free.”
• And on MAHA failures: “I see an upcoming collision between MAHA and ‘the medical experts,’ which will result in a win for the experts. Why? Because MAHA and Kennedy won’t put enough PRESSURE on the medical establishment. Too few giant medical CRIMES will be exposed. The very crimes I’ve been exposing since 1988.”

We are deeply grateful for the many seeds Jon has planted over the decades, which have blossomed in the work of a New Media following in his footsteps.
