  1. This snippet from Mike Yeadon/Robin Monotti/Cory Morningstar’s Telegram channel is so delightful, have to share for the giggles. Source wasnt given, but as an English person, it does have the ring of French b-mindedness about it. Chapeau.

    I’ve been in France for three months now. Their approach to this is simply fantastic.

    I’d like to share a bit about it.

    A very well known supermarket here decided to go cashless.

    A group of 50 people got together and agreed that they would all do a big shop on the same day. Pilling their trolleys to the brim and each person getting to the checkout – the human check out, not the machines – and having everything scanned before bringing cash out.

    The staff were absolutely overrun. There management in a complete tizz, everyone repeatedly, calmly and in a very organised and polite fashion acting as if they knew nothing. No edges, no rudeness, no humiliation.

    The supermarket reinstated cash.
    …..

    Petrol stations : filling up with fuel then only having cash to pay.

    ……

    Restaurants : groups of friends going out for dinner and nobody taking phones or credit cards, only cash …

    …..

    They are doing it in every single area of France. Simply refusing to be part of it.

    The reason it works is because it’s organised in large groups. One person here and another there doesn’t work. It needs to be really carefully constructed.

    We’ve long known government agencies tasked with tracking the climate routinely ‘adjust’ raw temperature data; we know they cool the past, which has the upshot of warming the present; we know they lie; and we know they fight FOIs.

    We now also know, thanks to a recent FOI request at the Australian Bureau of Meteorology (BoM), that they also ignore WMO guidelines and manufacture artificial warming trends by using electronic probes in place of traditional mercury thermometers.

    1. This chap makes some very interesting points. I hadn’t considered that the Chinese State may not even WANT the CNY to become world reserve currency.
      Despite the recent amped-up rhetoric to the contrary, I just can’t see anything replacing the USD as world reserve currency any time soon. Despite the frustrations that so many countries have with it, its longstanding dominance means that the global USD debt standard is all most people on the planet are familiar with. Even with slightly reduced market share, its sheer size and liquidity make it very difficult for competitors to challenge.
      In other news, did you see further down the thread that Gary Gensler was being grilled in Congress? I hope Catherine and John have time to cover it, this week.

    Andrew Young, the prosecutor in the an0m case, was taken aback by the intersection of graft and crime that he saw in the messages: “You think of organized crime and public corruption as different, but they’re really not. Both have the same goal, which is they’re trying to take over legitimate institutions for their own ends. And they use each other to do it.” He continued, “When you get to a community, whether it’s in Antwerp, New York, or Tijuana, where government officials are the actual criminals—not working for the criminals, but the actual criminals themselves—it’s just so difficult to get rid of.”

        1. The DNC can simply pick whichever candidate it wants, surely? When Sanders was more popular than Hillary Clinton in 2016, they simply wheeled out the hitherto unheard of “superdelegates” to ensure Clinton “won” the nomination.

          Likewise, in 2020, Kamala Harris was SUPPOSED to be the successful candidate, but her debate performances so lamentable, combined with such an extraordinary lack of appeal, that she was shuffled off to one side, to be partnered with the man she’d denounced as “racist” for supporting racial segregation in schools as recently as the 1970s.

          Anyway, back to RFK. Surely he’d go after Fauci if elected? Which neither party can afford to happen.

          However, it’s simply refreshing to see someone who opposed all the Covid “prevention” measures, and who isn’t a war criminal, running for high office. At least he’ll hopefully use his new platform to highlight some of the key issues (discussed week in, week out, in M&M) which are never addressed at the upper echelons of the political establishment.

          1. Alas, the fact the RFK is willing to participate in the farce known as the current political system is very discouraging. He could have run as independent, and made a real statement.

          2. The DNC would never let RFK be the candidate. And I suspect the press will pull a Ron Paul on him instead of shooting him. Recall that the press never reported on Ron Paul at all, going so far as to announce who came in first and third in a primary and never announcing second place. ?!? When Paul and his team successfully figured out how to target the best states for the primaries to win more delegates than the mannequin Romney, I suspect that just before the convention they took him aside and threatened to kill his whole family because he inexplicably stepped aside though he was ahead. Just like Ross Perot.
            And about Heels up Harris, maybe someone can confirm this but I think she’s the only pres candidate in history who couldn’t even win her own state. EVERYBODY HATES HER
            And never forget, RFK is PRO-VACCINE. Nobody is gonna save us.

          3. I take issue with your statement that RFK is PRO-VACCINE. Have you ever seen what is published and carried on CHD and CHD-TV?

          4. Yes, i have. And he has said multiple times that he isn’t anti vaxx, he wants “safe vaccines.” Maybe you need to look into what he says.

  6. RFK’s speech hit all the right buttons for me. Is it too much to hope for some decent coverage? It’s going to be tough to get RFK on the ballot here, home of the most masked Montessori School in the country, and the B and MG Institute. So that’s the next task!
    So many memories. I met Rafer Johnson at an RFK fundraiser, and Caesar Chavez at a state convention! I was 15 and earnestly supporting McCarthy in 1968; so upset when he lost that my parents had to stay home and tend me instead of going to their candidate’s victory celebration at the Ambassador Hotel…
    Many years later County Health Commissioner Dr. Peter Beilenson made my father’s (and his mother’s) senior home into ground zero for Covid in Sacramento, when she had a mild cold, by repeatedly ordering PCR testing of staff and residents until there were 50 positive results.The staff was demoralized. His mother Dolores told me all about being at the Ambassador Hotel that night, and in the kitchen, ending with “There was no conspiracy.” Her husband Tony was Congressman from Beverly Hills and on House Intelligence, so she would know, or know what to say.
