Having said that there is a very deep misunderstanding about Israel. The nation which was sacked by the Romans in 70 AD has to be formed in order for last day prophecies to be fulfilled. This is not an accident and it will cause many problems in the world, some of which we are seeing right now.
Important to note that Israel has had great rulers and evil rulers throughout all of its history. Even King Solomon messed up by bringing foreign women and foreign gods into the kingdom, plunging ancient Israel into apostasy and causing the division of the kingdom.
The fact that a little country the size of the state of New Jersey is getting this much attention should give everyone pause.
There is something very spiritual about the idea of the nation of Israel and I will try to say it succinctly( not one of my talents) :
1. God sovereignly chose a place and a people so that the nations ( 70 after the tower of Babel) would know his name.
2. Israel was not chosen because it was better or wiser than the other nations. It was chosen so that God could demonstrate his grace and glorify his name through a people, who if obedient ( a big if) would glorify him and even if they didn’t he will be glorified because he is Almighty God!!!
3. Israel was chosen to bring forth the Messiah, Yeshua from the line of Judah who laid down his life for all of us so that the curse of the garden and death would be defeated. This promise was given to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob( Israel, the father of the 12 tribes which eventually became a nation in Egypt )
4. God will restore Israel both physically and spiritually in the last days, but prior to this there will be a time of Jacob’s trouble which will be devastating. I believe we are witnessing the beginnings of that trouble. Jacob had 12 sons and not all of them are in the Land and not all of them are recognizable and they are not all “Jews”. Israel was scattered in the nations and the Jews( roughly 2 1/2 of the 12 tribes with some possible crossovers) are partially recognizable but only a remnant. This is a mystery. The nations will be blown away when they see who is Israel. They are scattered in all of the earth and many do not even know they are Israel. The gospel went out to the nations to gather up the “lost sheep of the house of Israel” and the nations along with them because in spite of themselves God intended Israel to te a blessing to all the families of the earth. That blessing would happen through the spread of the gospel ( the good news of the kingdom of God)
5. God will intervene and and many will understand who exactly is the God of Israel at the end of days. ( He does not change)
The nations should attach themselves to the God of Israel and pray for eyes to see his plan which is hidden from many because they do not try to understand through his eyes. God’s plan has always been that regardless of one’s bloodline, they follow the God of Israel/Yeshua.
They are one. If you know the Son you know the Father and visa versa. They are composite unity. ( echad in Hebrew)
Right now fallen men are running Israel( not the first time) , so don’t expect any miracles. That however does not change the plan of God which is eternal. He is a God of grace and restoration but is also holy so those that are doing evil regardless of where they live and how much money they have, are not hidden from him. We are not going to be able to overthrow this system, we can only pray for wisdom how to live when the days grow more and more evil.
The Bible tells of a day when rich and poor will be subjected to the beast system. Why? It’s Satan’s last chance to cause mankind to fall and follow him instead of our creator, a loving God. God gives us all free will to chose truth. Yeshua said, you will know the truth and it will set you free. Satan is the father of lies and he comes to devour and destroy. Just don’t ever take the mark of the beast.. better to starve or be killed.. you will have eternal life.
Nobody enters into the New Jerusalem without going through the gates which have the names of the tribes of Israel. This is in the book of Revelations. Think about this. If you believe in the Bible, you don’t get in without going through the gates with the names of Israel. That should cause everyone to pause and think, not about the modern nation of Israel and all of their mistakes ( because all of the nations are making a lot of mistakes) but who is the God of Israel and why did he chose a people and call them by his name?
It’s a mystery that takes spiritual eyes to discern i.e. you have to ask him to show you, but if you ignore these things, you may miss out on some very important truths that are in the Bible. Not my words, his..
He will ultimately bring justice and shalom on the earth. We can do as much as we like but he is God and we are not and his plan will play out as it is written.
Before I have someone getting mad at me, this doesn’t mean I like what is going on in Israel or I agree with what their government is doing or even what my own government is doing. That’s not the point. The point is that Israel is not an accident. It is very much a part of God’s plan and if you miss that, then you have to rip out a big portion of the Bible Torah, Prophets, Writings and the Newer Covenant. To understand it you have to start in Genesis and finish in Revelations and if you sincerely seek him, he will make it all make sense.
If you read the Bible and ask God to reveal himself to you as you read, he will open your eyes because that is his will. He wants us to seek him in spirit and in truth.
Sorry but you cannot read the Bible and think the creation of the modern nation of Israel is a mistake. Isaiah said it, “can a nation be born in a day”. You like it or don’t like it, your argument is not with me but with the God of Israel, as he identifies himself.
Last day prophecies require that Israel is in existence whether you like it or not. The passages are very clear if you take the time to study them. Undeniable.
When Yeshua was dying on a tree for our sins, he said, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” He laid his life down so that we could have life. He was crucified by the Romans and the religious leaders in Jerusalem but he went to his death willingly knowing it was the only way to redeem a fallen mankind. It was the only way, to overcome the lie of the garden when Satan told Even just eat the fruit. It was the only way to overcome death and usher in eternity.
God our creator came in flesh and humbled himself to the point of death on a cross so we could live with him forever!!! How does one understand that kind of grace? I
He is the only way to eternal life. God’s provision for our separation which began in the garden when Satan convinced man and woman to rebel against God. That is most important truth I can share and Yeshua came to to his own, many refused him but to all those who believed he gave the right to become sons and daughters of God, born of his spirit.

The Bible itself defines the origins of the word Israel, and it was the messenger of God wrestling with Jacob who changed his names.

Given that we are watching a holocaust and mass famine/die off engineered by the mega rich, who are using our tax dollars to make themselves richer and more powerful, I have no comprehension how this relates to anything in the Bible other the appearance of Satan in the flesh. This has nothing to do with Israel’s existence. It has to do with the Empire and the leadership in Israel – whose leader grew up in Philadelphia – destroying the existence of others – both people and countries. The Arab nations have always used the Palestinian people as pawns, but they don’t especially care for them. I’m not surprised in the least.
Catherine, I am referring to John’s comments about Israel coming into existence in 1948. I did not say anything about the current situation. In fact I think I said that Israel has had really good and really evil leaders throughout their history. That was not my point.
I am not a fan of Netanyahu and believe he is doing a lot of harm to his own people too. I am talking about an eternal covenant that God has made with Israel in spite of good and bad. If the nations divide the Land, God’s Land. He will come into judgement with the nations . It is written over and over and over again.
If someone doesn’t believe the Bible, that’s a whole different discussion but for those of us who do here’s what just one Prophet Jeremiah says about the last days and God’s covenant with Israel. It will be the days of Jacob’s trouble, and possibly brought on by some of the actions of the current government?
Restoration for Israel and Judah
Jer. 30:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD: 2 “Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Write in a book all the words that I have spoken to you. 3 For behold, days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will restore the fortunes of my people, Israel and Judah, says the LORD, and I will bring them back to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall take possession of it.”
Jer. 30:4 These are the words that the LORD spoke concerning Israel and Judah:
Jer. 30:5 “Thus says the LORD:
We have heard a cry of panic,
of terror, and no peace.
6 Ask now, and see,
can a man bear a child?
Why then do I see every man
with his hands on his stomach like a woman in labor?
Why has every face turned pale?
7 Alas! That day is so great
there is none like it;
it is a time of distress for Jacob;
yet he shall be saved out of it.

13 There is none to uphold your cause,

and their congregation shall be established before me,

The Lord Will Turn Mourning to Joy

‘Arise, and let us go up to Zion,

The New Covenant
Jer. 31:31 “Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, 32 not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, declares the LORD. 33 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the LORD: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD. p.s. Everyone thinks the new covenant is for “the church” God is renewing the covenant with his people, all Israel because he divorced them for their unfaithfulness. The covenant is in the blood of Yeshua the bridegroom.
Ephraim refers to the leader of the 10 tribes scattered in the nations who are not Jews, they do not even know they are descendants of Israel.
Because of the Torah, the only way that God could remarry an adulterous nation was for the bridegroom to die. That is why Yeshua came and laid down his life. I would call Trump and DeSantis diabolical and devious vs honest or serving freedom. DeSantis bragged about dramatically improving the financial position of Florida from around the pandemic period without revealing the money came in from the people fleeing to Florida for freedom. Yup, Getting to the truth is a journey and everyday that passes some truth is being exposed on the two coups against a President. And it seems that documents have been produced showing Adam Schiff leaking classified information in attempt to harm Trump.
Is Donald Trump a Globalist, a Neo Con or a Populist? I don’t know, but I do appreciate his agressive approach in stopping the flow of illegals thru our southern border preventing less fentanyl from entering the country. More attention is needed on the border with Canada especially on the border of Michigan and Minnesota as the two governors may be Chinese friendly. I appreciate the recent peace agreements that were arranged by President Trump. This August 15th Trump and Putin will be meeting in Alaska to discuss stopping the bloodshed in Ukraine. Or are they going to discuss another topic that may upset a few of the globalists.
There are two mega engineer projects have have been discussed for years. One is building a canal thru Nicaragua and the other is to build a land bridge (or tunnel) connecting Russia with Alaska. Maybe Trump and Putin are going to discuss doing a joint Arctic project together. How many times have we heard acquiring Greenland and making Canada the 51st State? One could only imagine the mineral wealth in North Canada.

Since coming back in he has taken multiple steps to shut down cash and move to programmable money in an all digital financial system while twisting all of US domestic and foreign policy to support the engineering of a holocaust and ensure that US policy serves the faction happily exterminating people in a holocaust and running a significant percentage of organized crime – all against the best interests of the American people. Not to mention transferring a trillion dollars + of private US citizen data an, IMO, gifting it to said criminal syndicate. While setting a record for personal and family grift that would make Ulysses Grant blush.
So I am not an enthusiast for the “trust the plan” 5 D Chess propaganda.

So I do not share your enthusiasm for mass murderers – for politicians and their staff who are today going to promote injections that will kill people today, tomorrow and the next day with no end in sight.

For the innocent people – a large number of which are children – who are being killed today and tomorrow and for the foreseeable future and their killing is being protected by the current administration and funded with your and my tax dollars, whether in a doctors office in the US or in Palestine – what about them? Lengthy religious arguments are not welcome here to justify systemic violations of lawlessness – of killing on scale, land grab and plunder.
