Thanks to Catherine and John for pointing out that an ‘independent central bank’ does not mean a central bank which is independent of the executive branch but rather means a privately owned central bank which operates in secrecy and is above the law. Wow! This need to be included in every Economics 101 textbook.
🙂
Whoever thought my long and very boring education in learning how to translate pretzel talk and central banking speak would turn out to be useful!
Goes to show – you never know – just keep learning!
There is a very interesting interview on our changing cities and the push for 15 minute cities of mainly renters in stack and pack highrises. It is mainly about California but applies to all of the US (minus some specific California laws).
Google: California Insider Interviews Christine Epperly. Title “State-Mandaded Housing Coming to Your Town” 9/14/23
Christine is a civil engineer and building Designer for over 30 years. She has such
interesting information on what is happening to our cities, how these plans are increasing cost of housing under guise of lowering costs of housing, and possible ways to fight back.
I enjoyed one commentor responding to the “walkable 15 minute city” – “Prisons are walkable, too.”
Christine compares what will come to Hungary after WWII which came to be known as “Brutalism.”
AND WHAT ABOUT THE C40 CITIES..JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE LOCATIONS..BET YOU CAN GUESS WHICH ONES THE GLOBALISTS WILL BE PICKING UP CHEAP!!!!!
Can not find the interview. Do you have a link that is available?

Attempting to connect the dots: 1) smaller banks tend to lend more, especially locally; 2) the CRE debt train wreck is likely a Opportunity Zone play; 3) the work from home mandates may have been part of the disaster capitalism for CRE; 4) the regional bank rollup to the Big 6 banks engineered by the Fed.
Do the next tranche of regional banks hold a huge portion of the CRE debt coming due over the next 2-5 years? Or do smaller community banks hold a large portion of that debt?
Brilliant question. Will keep an eye out for intelligence to answer this.
I was under impression that Kenedy is anti gun. While he is an attractive candidate his position on 2A is a problem.
Fresno is in the California MegaRegion:
