1st Quarter 2019 Wrap Up – News Trends & Stories, Part II

This coming week is the second in our two-part publication of News Trends & Stories for the 1st Quarter 2019 Wrap Up. Dr. Joseph P. Farrell joins me for our analysis of what is happening in 2019—and where it is going.
Last week in Part II, we reviewed the top ten stories in Economy & Financial Markets and Geopolitics – and discussed the fire at Notre-Dame in Paris as well as the linkages between culture, the economy, and political tensions.
In Part II, we look at the top stories in Culture, Science and Technology, Space, and Food and Health and cover our top picks for Unanswered Questions, Inspiration, and Take Action. We also fill in the Trump Report Card for the 1st Quarter.
I hope you take advantage of both Parts I and II; – I know of no better round-up of the deeper news than these discussions. Make sure to check out the News Trends & Stories section on our 1st Quarter 2019 Wrap Up web presentation for top trends, headlines in each story, as well as recommended videos. “Pick your D’s”.
It has always been a choice to decide. But in a techno-sorcery induced society it can be very easy to fall into a spiritual coma. For to be carnally (hypermaterialism) minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:6
Catherine, did you get a chance to read “Vitruvian Man” that a solari member sent you? I felt like I was hit by a 40 foot tidal wave trying to absorb all the information. Got to reread it.
Looks like your fat bumblebees have migrated over to my house, lots and lots of little fat bumblebees flying around.
-
Dear Robert
Would you happen to have any details or a link to the “Vitruvian Man”?-
-
Thanks so much, Robert.

A couple of quick comments on ingredients Dr. Farrell was calling out in his sinus medication:
Titanium dioxide is a whitening agent. It’s used in art pigments as well as in foods and drugs. Is it more toxic than the main ingredients? Unknown.
Mag. stearate makes the pill slippery so that it doesn’t get caught in the machinery – yours or theirs 😉
The other components are mostly plant based, though seriously manipulated from their origin.
PS – Chronic sinus infections are frequently tied to intestinal issues.-
Yup. I had sinus problems until I did colon cleansing. Problem all gone.
-
I have done weekly coffee ememas for 10 years. My brilliant wife the OBGYN/ Lyme expert/ Allopathic /Holistic / Scientist healed me of chronic Lyme. We retired 4 years ago after constant threats and actions by medical community.
-
Good for you. Coffee enemas are great. Franklin Sanders describes them as “having your coffee upside down.”

I hate to make a suggestion for your burgeoning reading list Catherine, but you might want to consider “Reality” by Peter Kingsley before tackling Plato and Aristotle.
In Reality, Peter tells the story of Parmenides and Empedocles, two ‘iatromantis’ healer-prophets, that are mistakenly called Pre-Socratic philosophers. They are the true founders of western civilization. Big statement I know. Peter makes a very persuasive argument that Plato’s ‘assassination’ of Parmenides – not literal, but much worse for us – laid the foundation for the great schism of the West – between what we now call the rational mind and the spiritual aspects of our Being.
It’s a fascinating story, very well told, with impeccable scholarship. It’s also a heck of a lot easier to read than the extant translations of the great Athenians, though no less deep for the ease.

This book was a life-changing book for me. The historic perspective was/is breathtaking. The standard story of the founding of Western society by the Athenians, at least arguably, was one of first written ‘victor’ histories.
Peter argues, and I would agree, we all lost something incredibly important as a result.
