This 6-pillar curriculum teaches the basic literacy we need to be personally and financially successful and to do so in a manner in which together we evolve a culture that supports the emergence of an advanced human civilization.
I believe you are right regarding IRAN WAR being COVID 2.0. However, you have yet to discuss the mass killing of individuals due to the following:
(1) High cost & non-availability of foodstuffs (due to lack of fuel to farm, as well as agricultural chemicals such as pesticides & fertilizer)
(2) High cost & non-availability of pharmaceuticals (due to lack of petrochemical-based feedstock precursors in India, Indonesia, Far East, etc.)
Have spoken about (1) recently on many occasions. Have traditional talked about (2) because of our dependency on China. Real problem, so thanks for reminding me. When supply chains bifurcate in this way the inflation can put everything out of reach.
I seem to remember one or more explosions contributing to shortages. I’ll need to do a search or two to see if that is more than a rumour though.
I am going to put together a list. Post yours! If we can collect them all up, likely to see some interesting patterns.
Thank you for highlighting Afroman’s Lemon Pound Cake. His “signifying” is a great example of creative strategy, flipping the script on power imbalances. For hundreds of years worth of life lessons, this art form is masterfully employed by African Americans. A sheriff who is high… on himself, is vulnerable to the real power of a public’s watchful eye and mama’s lemon pound cake.
As you both emphasize, creative activity is central to a culture that lives an inspired and free life. Similarly, the limbic system is central to neurologic processing. For anyone interested in seeing why the arts (chronically defunded) are vital to recovering neurological function in the limbic area of the brain, a recent National Geographic special issue titled “Your Brain”, illustrates the pathways of information processing. The arts are precisely what is needed to grow beyond what we currently have. They enable integration of learning and function through sensory processing, rebuilding neural pathways that have been traumatized by an overabundance of toxic, not nourishing images, sounds, and substances.
We all benefit from more, certainly not less, of mama’s good art just sitting there, waiting for us to dig in.
Isin’t that interesting. Nina, Ricardo and I were just at the Rijks with Ricardo’s daughter and Nina’s daughter. Was interesting to see the youngest’s first trip to a major museum and how Nina got her engaged….it was the paintings with the animals that she found inspiring!
🩵 We have a beautiful Rembrandt in Detroit with a dog front and center.
You’re a great teacher too.
Molly – where is the Rembrandt in Detroit. I want to see it!
The painting was owned by Alfred de Rothschild. He was gay and never married but allegedly fathered a daughter with a married woman. The daughter inherited the painting and sold it to an art dealer in New York, likely to fund her husband’s expeditions in Egypt and excavatingTutankhamen’s tomb. It sold to the city of Detroit and became at great risk of being taken by creditors during the 2013/14 bankruptcy lawsuit.
What a remarkable journey.
Forgot to mention….”The Visitation” was once owned by a Rothschild.
“The Visitation” is in the Detroit Institute of Arts, included with the Dutch Collection. Detroit also has many important prints of Rembrandt’s, but they are rarely on view. Please let me know if you and/or Nina come to see it. Maybe Nina would like the 2027 Caravaggio exhibit.
Will mention it. Curious why the Rothschilds would give up a Rembrandt.
I so love these wrap ups with Joseph. I subbed his website a while back after seeing the 2nd/ part 2 of a wrap up back then. I also enjoy the content on his website and forum.
I also appreciate Catherine always being honest and telling her opinion/perspective especially about the Antarctica in this episode. Thank You very Much
Great song, I hope he doesn’t get a copyright violation for the melody from the writer of “On the Boardwalk” but he’s such a law-abiding guy he probably got permission to use it.
Love On the Boardwalk – I did not hear or see a copyright violation. What am I missing?
Yes, I think artists have been sued for less obvious ones than that, but he may have gotten permission. Also not sure how it works when it’s an older song?
Re: Unanswered Question #1: I, personally, have been struggling with understanding this new financial system. Maybe it’s the terminology. Maybe it’s because it is so conceptual and not tangible/physical. We are all living in an upside down world. The “Inflation Reduction” bill in reality means inflation to the moon! “Peace” means war., etc, etc. “Tokenization” to me means another degree of separation from what is actually real. (I remember when I had to buy “tokens” in Boston (early 1990’s) to ride the subway … why couldn’t I just pay the damn fare direct with real money?)
Our indigenous populations were confused by the surveying teams. It was inconceivable to them to actually cordon off the land for private ownership. Likewise, it is inconceivable for me still that these people want to own (and tokenize/privatize/market-make) the air we breathe, the rainwater falling from the sky, the bees that pollinate, the fish that swim, the sunlight that shines, the trees in the forest, our physical bodies, our daily lives, etc. It really is mind blowing. Maybe it’s just me….
This is the alienation of divine intelligence from demonic intelligence. What they want is demonic, so it is hard to fathom as it is so destructive of the life it seeks to extract.
I’m seeking the divine. I pray for the divine. I believe that is our only path.
I have just determined that us Gen X peoples are the FINAL line. We have to stand our ground….
Amen, amen and amen! From what I have seen of the great Gen Z, they are ready to help!
I mean … show me a “distributed ledger”, show me a “blockchain”, show me a “crypto currency” … in the REAL world, not fake, digital world. This all sounds like the gobblydegook of 2008 with “Collateralized Debt Obligations (CDOs)”, “Mortgage Backed Securities”, etc. All fancy sounding, amazingly “intelligent-sounding” vocabulary, but …. it’s all BS. However, I really do understand the programmable money, surveillance, and social credit score component. USE CASH!!!!
Great Ideas? Agree with Dr Ferrell a new party eg the Blue Red Party with by laws, no money from APACT or very large donor’s and a few more things. Second we must begin to turn away from materialism as described by Steiner and more and more learn Spiritual Science. The latter will take longer but will in the end save us all because we will understand Christ at a much deeper level, including the merging of man and machines. Yes Steiner writes about that as well. Has Dr Ferrell read any of Steiner’s books? I would guess it will be hard for him to do that but it would help open his eyes to so much more if or when he decides to join you Catherine in learning the things that Steiner wrote about.
Another fabulous discussion. Thank you both.
Re: your mention of losing access to fertilizers. Here is a link to an extraordinary invention (referred to as The Dragon) created by Michael Smith. https://www.regenitech.com
Michael created a closed-loop, regenerative system that eliminates the need for fertilizer. It can be a game-changer helping us grow organic food and heal our soil.

I think there were earlier explosions :
