    1. Chad:

There are many local currency and network currency and barter systems that could work – and add tremendous value to the economy. The reason they don’t work is because they are not allowed to work. So the question for all of these is how are they going to win at economic warfare against the pro-centralization team – or at least exist side by side. Until you address the enforcement question, none will work.

So it takes us back to the control issue every time.

  1. Thank you, Catherine. Well…I guess the first task at hand is to educate the enforcers (i.e. the police and military). After all, they and their families can hurt by the system as much as anyone else. Perhaps the members of Oathkeepers would be interested in learning more about this issue.

    1. Yup. Will post on the blog. At some point, entreprenuers are just going to blow by the patent system.

  2. An article about legally opting out of Obamacare and enrolling in a Health Care Sharing Ministry.

It would save me about $150 a month and allow ME to be in control of my health care. It is also a spiritually based group.

I work as a medical social worker and I believe nutrition is the cure for most ailments while conventional medicine believes drugs are needed for most ailments.

I see people get on more and more drugs and have their health deteriorate over the years. I am starting to see people being taken off the wonder cholesterol lowering drugs after years of use after permanent damage has been done.

I have been a member of Samaritan Ministries for several years now.

      Thanks for posting!

      1. A local traditional ins agent told me they are only in the mid west bible belt. He said that if I signed up for them that it would not provide services here (west coast oregon). I will have check if this is true.

I met him in a coffe shop where I overheard him giving a presentation to a couple. They ealked out because they are on the low end of middle income, not eligible for subsidies and looking at monthly premiums of $350-$400 mo.

  3. Frankilin’s comments were rather weak this time. Gave Technical Analysis only, and then back away from any position on that.
    Not his usual stance.
He then blew up negatively over Global Warming!.
Raved about algea as a protein supp.
    Phoeey on Armagadon, market collapse.

Not complaining , as much as having expected more from a year end pitch.

    1. Max:

Appreciate the feedback. FYI – it was my idea to get his input on the “unlikely and whacky scenarios.”

  4. I hope you have seen the “Art of the Steal” now being featured on Netflix. It reminds me of why living at 48th and Chester in Filthadelphia in 1973 in order to be part of Ian McHarg’s Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture Program, because it had become such a popsicle indicator, that deciding to go back to Ann Arbor was an incredibly good idea. nI would have spent years trying to fight for the Barnes Collection. It was thrilling to be agreeing with Julian Bond again and reminds me why I continue to dislike both lawyers and politicians at about the same rate.
