   Reading about your trip made me think of a story I was told about healing journeys.
   When the ancient Greeks were physically, mentally or emotionally ill they made a pilgrimage to a sacred place called Epidaurus. Entrance to Epidaurus required a change of clothing. Wearing a white robe pilgrims pass through the an arch inscribed with the words “only the pure of heart may enter here”.
   The sick and dying went to Epidaurus for therapeia. The proscribed treatments included plays, music, dancing, good food, hot baths, massages and rest. Pilgrims were observers and performers in rituals and healing exercises. An individual might stay in the healing environment for several days or weeks.
   At some point the patient would go to a special hall where, for one night only, pilgrims share a common chamber. During the night attendants pass through the room blessing the sleepers. Using eucalyptus water they anoint the pilgrims. This libation prepares them for a visitation from the healer Asclepius It was believed that just before dawn, the god of healing would implant a healing dream in every pilgrim.
   The person who shared this myth with me also said all mental illness is spiritual. When the human soul is sick the arts will remedy and restore needed vitality.
   It sounds like your pilgrimage bought refreshment and renewal. I feel sure you also received a healing dream which you will share with the Solari community.

2. Vets and Police.

   Im not sure you have it correct on this or Im completely missing your point.
   Police all over are militarized. That is done. They were taken under the DHS and have also been trained by some “not so nice” folks from outside the US and they weren’t being trained to “Serve and protect”!
   Police ARE doing the bidding of those in control. Both local and federal, etc.
   We’re seeing police actions now what he didn’t prior. I believe this is part of why the LA riots happened.
   When they stop tazing pregnant women and old men
   When they stop flash banging infants in their cribs
   When they stop shooting people dead for no reason
   I’ll think about supporting them
   One last point – With many groups, you end up having a few who apologize for the bad behavior of the rest. Where is that for the cops? Where are the apologies from the “good cops”?? Where are the “good cops” who are speaking out against the bad ones? I see none! Not sure you can explain that away.
