I thought this was a good, detailed, very hard-hitting article from Bloomberg, predicting tough times ahead for retail companies:

Good one. Will post. Fails to mention the enormous government subsidy flowing to the on line providers.
Catherine,
I thought this was good analysis from a tribal perspective of what is happening in Saudi & Lebanon. She makes a very valid point that many layers and language dialects could be confusing for western media to understand. I think she’s on point on what’s going on with the Lebanese PM and the Saudi Royal family.

In response to your choice of “The Outlaw Josey Wales” I recommend to you Netflix’s “The Mekong River” with Sue Perkins. Ms. Perkins travels the 3000 mile length of the Mekong River starting at the Delta in Vietnam and ending at the Tibetan Plateau in China. What is being planned are 11 hydroelectric dams that will alter 50 million people’s lifestyles that they enjoyed for centuries. It is a current day of multiple cultures and economic interests in conflict where everyone knows who the winner will be. As I watched the 4 episode feature I observed how the people know the value of “think local” in their day to day activities . Now I need to check if there are any Mekong cruises being offered to the public.
FYI, Catherine.

FIRST DIGITAL PILL APPROVED BY THE FDA IS AN ANTI-PSYCHOTIC.
Dear Catherine. We have reached yet another milestone in modern medicine. And not surprising given the new rash of public shootings. The FDA just approved the FIRST ‘digital’ ingestible pill. According to STAT: Morning Rounds (www.statnews.com) – Brave New World is now here.
” A futuristic pill that contains an ingestible sensor to track medication adherence was approved by the FDA late Monday — the first of its kind to win that designation. The drug is an upgraded version of Abilify, an antipsychotic drug first approved 15 years ago to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depression. The new product will be sold as Abilify MyCite. When it’s swallowed, an ingestible sensor inside it sends a message to a patch worn by the patient, which then transmits the information to a mobile app that the patient can monitor. If a patient opts to allow it, the patient’s caregivers and doctor can access the data, too.”
Note that this is a monitoring device for those who are taking anti-psychotics. I WILL RESERVE COMMENT for the moment.
I will be very eager to read Jon Rappaport’s response.

The STAT news website includes a daily newsletter update aimed at informing the public of ground breaking discoveries, patents and government policy related to the health industry. It is a good source of information to stay abreast of the health care industry.
The squeeze play is to get all the gun ownership advocates supporting mental health solutions and then come back around – everyone who wants to own a gun has a mental health problem.
