  1. So Disney will buy Fox, another major step in media consolidation, and I’m guessing that Congress will just rubber stamp it. In my dreams I think that maybe we could offer all members of Congress $1 million to $2 million a year for the rest of their lives to just step down and let the people vote on all of the laws and legislation from now on, but there would be too many roadblocks to accomplishing something like this.

  2. “To be or not to be lies purely in the hands of the Treasury. Only their rule will define any cryptocurrency and the courts will never do their job constitutionally and defer to the agency. This very bad and unconstitutional undermining of our liberty is known as the Chevron Doctrine. It is how the third branch of government, the Judiciary, has become indistinguishable from the Executive Branch. It takes courage for a judge to overrule agency interpretation.”

I get that Clif High can be read like Nostradamus -every which way. So he reported government would eventually pass a law requiring all Bitcoin sales only to the government. Sort of caps your assertion government is allowing Bitcoin to get the free development coding and will eventually take all the fruits of that labor…

      1. Whata mess!

Establishment republicans blaming Bannon is ridiculous. The media have been ruthless with lying.

When I read the Intercept article on the private spy network I was with you, it can turn out bad but now more than ever I understand a need for it. Eric Prince and Oliver North should be in jail. These are some seedy characters especially what Price did in Iraq with Blackwater. I guess it takes thugs to clear out thugs. They know the networks and ratlines.

I am just praying North still has a bit of patriotism in him from his military days.

  3. When I log in and try to listen to any section under “Audio Chapters”, none of them can be opened.
    e.g. “Ask Catherine”….help!
    Thanks

    1. Are you talking about last week – Patty Kemmerer on Taxes? I just tried them all in both Safari and Firefox and then worked. What browser are you using?

  4. Catherine,
We should all pray for the safety of the auditors of the Pentagon. TPTB already took out around 50 people looking into the missing trillions on 9/11.

    1. The sudden audit announcement is Pentagon damage control. It must be seen as doing something with as much authority, honor and dignity as can be drummed up. Despite missing/destroyed records, as Catherine has pointed out, the audit needs to get Treasury and New York Federal Reserve interaction records with the DOD to fill in the empty spaces. You can bet that after months they will not have done that, just as the FBI need only request the NSA’s help but doesn’t. My prediction is bad Guard dogs ate all the receipts so we will never know , but lets all get on with healing and get past the “accident”, etc., etc.

      1. When Skidmore published his first report, the NY Fed had a fire alarm on Saturday night as a result of a fire in a fireplace that had not been used for a long while

The President signed a $700 billion budget for the military today. It included funding for 90 F-35s made by Lockheed Martin. I believe they cost app $94 Million each. That should be a $10 Billion order. Lockheed is the firm that ran the payments systems from 1998-2015. They spun them out after 2015 fiscal close.

Lockheed is also the lead contractor/vendor on satellites and directed energy weapons.

The lesson to be learned from connecting these dots? CRIME PAYS.
