FYI, Catherine. Sounds like a decent proposal to me to at least begin to fix our healthcare system.

Great piece!
Mr. Denninger has a good framework there. 2 weak points are: his assumption of Rule of Law and his punitive outlook regarding those with diseases of lifestyle (Big 3 cancer, diabetes, heart disease really); just because he figured out his diet and lifestyle was killing him and made changes, he assumes anyone who doesn’t figure it out, can’t or won’t do anything about it deserves what they get.
The most dangerous lifestyle is anger. Mr. Denninger has more opportunity to protect his health, I think.
Catherine,
It is important to have ideas, plans, even solutions ready should the opportunity for healthcare (or any change) present itself. However, since chances of getting democratic top down change via our Federal government is just about nil as long as the lobbying, big money and Deep State exists, as you often demonstrate it is best to act locally and start with ourselves.
On the topic of food and health I can point to four excellent resources:

Yes. great links!
FYI, Catherine. I’m not against asset forfeiture in theory, but as it is practiced today, it needs serious reform.

Chad:
Having watched it work up close, I am against it period. Government should be about justice, not profit.
Catherine
Love your comment about justice. John Ruskin’s book, Unto This Last, on the social economy places justice at its center. John Ruskin was Gandhi’s mentor. A link to the book is below.
Catherine, have you read it?

Not yet. Sitting in the pile of now approaching 200 must read books….
Well, I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree on this one. I know it can be abused and is abused and it is distressing to me that you went through what you did. The trouble is how just is it to allow a real criminal to keep all of his/her ill gotten gains? If a cabal or cartel stole billions from the government via the DOD or DOH and killed people to get it, should we allow them to keep the money? It is especially important when the statutory fines are not that high. The criminal can pay the fine like the cost of doing business and keep his booty. Perhaps we need to change it from civil asset forfeiture to criminal asset forfeiture. along with other changes. Maybe asset forfeiture is not that viable right now, due to the state of our government, but, again, in theory, I don’t have an issue with it.
Policing for profit is a problem and it extends past asset forfeiture. Many small towns view traffic tickets as a source of revenue and officers are pressured to keep the tickets going. The Feds give grants to agencies to run seat belt and DWI checks, so that is what the agencies focus on. It would be nice to see the Feds give agencies grants to investigate real crime like burglary.
Here in NY, we have “surcharges” on top of the fine, which can be larger than the fine. It’s outrageous. I could go on, but you get the point
Problem is Chad that it is the US government that is doing the stealing. Steaing $11.5 trillion, running the narcotics trafficking and the mortgage fraud. When you give them asset forefeiture powers then that is the same as giving governmental authority to target people to the people who run organized crime.
Never going to work.
As part of trying to understand how the ad hoc decision to bomb Syria came down, we find some indication of Ivanka:
http://nypost.com/2017/04/08/ivanka-may-have-convinced-her-dad-to-bomb-syria/
Good Lord … if Zio-Jared can so easily hijack his wife’s natural, but uninformed empathy and re-direct it to tragically misguide her dad … and DJT actually converts her distress into an instantaneous, unconstitutional military strike … we have embedded entrainment manipulation far beyond anything I had feared.
Strikes me as unlikely.
FYI, Catherine.

This question is for Catherine as I do not pretend to have the background knowledge even to hazard a competent answer. Given that the U.S. population was around 5% in 1945 and it’s share of resource use about 50%. And given that U.S. Foreign Policy was directed in part toward maintaining the resultant high living standard; largely via covert or aggressive means to obtain needed resources at extremely low prices. In your opinion Catherine if the U.S. had followed the Chinese model of barter;exchanging infrastructure for resources. With no IMF and no strings attached. If the U.S. had say expanded the Army Corp of engineers when we had a 2 million man army and sent those engineers to undeveloped countries and bartered infrastructure for natural resources without further strings attached. Would the United States be able to maintain the same high level standard of living for so long that it has enjoyed since World War 2 by less scrupulous and unsavory methods?
Laurence:
I would estimate yes. We would have still needed to have a pretty significant navy/military presence but that could have been financed by reserve currency statust. However, we would not have been able to siphon off the extraordinary amounts for blackbudget/hidden system of finance and the leadership would have been determined by meritocracy as opposed to inside information and assasination.
So what we got from the existing model is the privilege of being ruled by the men who killed Kennedy and the transfer of global wealth to a SSP and Breakaway civilization and what ever else is behind the veil.
Indeed! I do not have your financial background but was wondering if all the lies, theft and murderous wars were necessary for the Impala and the split level in the suburbs. Or as John Houseman used to say in the Smith Barney ads we could have done it the old fashioned way. We could have earned it.
Yes, we could have earned it. That was not the point. The point was for the top guys to come out on top and to get a great deal of secret private resources. Question is why?
So we are describing the dynamics of human power politics at the highest level;not different from Stalin’s Politburo or the Curia in ancient Rome?
Maybe worthwhile starting with Genesis.
That hierarchy of handlers included the serpent tricking Eve, and then Eve luring Adam to bite the forbidden fruit, after which Adam tried to blame God (Genesis 3:12) for “putting the woman” with him.
The Syria missile story looks deceptively analogous. The main question is whether Jared (operating under his recently heightened military profile) tricked Ivanka into expressing premature outrage at the fully unproven Sarin gas event. In any case, Eric Trump has joined the list of insiders confirming Ivanka’s role:
http://theduran.com/confirmed-decision-to-attack-syria-influenced-by-ivanka-trump/
The post-script of this disastrous policy gaffe is that Trump – like Adam – realized quickly that he was duped. He tried to attribute his decision to his blind affection for Ivanka, almost as ironic as Adam blaming God for giving him the woman.
Now, Trump is trying to salvage his presidency by:
1. declaring there will be no large Syria deployment, and that he really does want better relations with Russia
2. we’re going to pick on a country we might be able to successfully intimidate (North Korea), and
3. Jared is being re-designated as the architect of peace between Isreal and Palestine (vintage Trump parry against his formidable handlers).
Unfortunately, Trump’s first major mistake in presidential power politics may have fated him and America to a painful future far away from the Great Again America he promised. A Genesis moment indeed.
I don’t buy it.
There are puppets and there are puppet masters. So who are the puppet masters doing the false flags. Even if Ivanka was an influence, these are decisions that get vetted by a lot of players. No way that influence can tolerate the vetting unless a lot of other puppet master strings being pulled throughout the process.
There are significant puppet master manipulations involved and at work on several continents right now.
Lots of powerful puppet masters who love to hide behind skirts like Ivanka. The woman’s card gets played 1,000 ways and it is one of the big piles of BS on the planet today.
Follow the money and who has the $11.5 trillion.
Also – serious question as to whether significant entrainment is involved. White House would be well advised to use hard wire cable for internet access, every person have 2 stations, one off line entirely and NO WIFI. Cell phones best left in a microwave.
