When The Dutch Ruled The World
Interesting event that happened over the weekend in the US. A young rapper named Nipsy Hustle was gunned down what was televised as a gang shooting. The interesting thing is the internet is a blaze with conspiracy theories on his death. Turns out the young rapper was going to make a documentary on Dr. Sebi and his court case regarding his claim in curing AIDS.
Botched shooting gone a rye?

Thought Solari subscribers would find this interesting: In December 2018, the Kennedy Center’s National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, DC performed a new symphony by composer Mason Bates called ‘Art of War.’ In this YT video, Bates explains how he was inspired by the Iraq war, the violence on the battlefield and also how money funds war. His symphony includes original field recordings of weapons testing and the sounds of the US Mint printing presses. Here is the YT video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JO2kifpG8I&list=WL&index=3
Fascinating and dreadful at the same time!
Catherine?
Armstrong economics posted a plea for people to contact politicians and protest the jailing of Chelsea Manning.
It’s a blatant violation of our Constitution.
I think the same thing happened to him
and he was jailed and tortured.
I read Armstrong economics everyday and have never seen him ask people to protest via contacting politicians and the White House.
After I answered a subscribers question about Martin Armstrong work, he was thrown off of his email list. So I am not current on his work. I would describe him as thin skinned

Truly enjoyed the story of Gideon with Thomas Meyer. Thank you!!
Looking forward to this week’s Money & Markets … seems that SO much is going on. The Dems are really putting up ridiculous views and I’m astounded that my liberal friends actually AGREE with them. The power of repeated propaganda is truly effective.
Can you give an overview as to why anyone would buy negative interest rate bonds? Why not move the money to US Treasuries? Confusing ….
Thanks !!
Have you read Caveat Emptor? https://home.solari.com/caveat-emptor-why-investors-need-to-do-due-diligence-on-u-s-treasury-and-related-securities/

Am I the only one annoyed NATO’s chief gave a speech in front of both Houses of Congress promoting NATO? That didn’t sit well with me.
When I was in Denmark a member of the audience snapped at a lecturer who mentioned Nato that Denmark had passed a law making it a crime to criticize Nato with a maximum penalty of 12 years in prison. The member of the audience sounded afraid for his own liabilities if he was in the room when someone else might say something. I tried to find confirmation of such a law actually being passed and adopted. I could only find an article about the proposal, so I am not sure if it was adopted. But the experience was more than creepy.
There is much to Europe in terms of its civilization, art and architecture. but what Americans should appreciate about OUR traditions is the freedoms we (are at lease SUPPOSED to) have guaranteed. Speech is not free in Europe and that should be enough to put anyone off it. I’d rather live among free-speaking philistines than among muzzled highbrows and aesthetes. On the other hand what would be the point of living among muzzled philistines, which is where we are heading if we don’t guard against speech codes and whatnot.
(I am reminded of the scene from Catch-22, where the character Nately is debating the old Italian man: NATELY: It’s better to die on one’s feet than to live on one’s knees! OIM: I think you have it wrong. It’s better to live on one’s feet than to die on one’s knees.
Nately wanted to smash the old man’s leering face.
Quoting from memory, but I am pretty sure I am close.)
Yup. This is why understanding the Scottish enlightenment is so valuable. Speech is no longer free in the US – it is very expensive. Solari pays a very high financial price for the privelege of free speech. We insist it should be free. We do our best to function as if it were free. But our cash flows and budget underscores the day to day costs of information warfare.
I think the Good God preordained the birthplace of George Orwell… whose life and work were it’s own irony, given the surveillance state his native country has become.
The U.K. government has decided it’s time for the Government of the U.K. to control and regulate speech on the internet. In a way, just an “add on” layer of control for a nation that is not terribly far away from Chinese levels of mass surveillance.
I’m pretty up to speed on the surveillance state and the weaponization of information for thought control, and it’s tactics. I STILL have many moments of “mind boggle” at what I am watching happen in America around freedom and speech.
Even knowing the path we were sliding down 10 years ago… I wouldn’t have believed things could ever be this overt. “Get them when they are young…” has turned into a smashing success on the road to “Idiocracy”.

Entrainment and mind control are very powerful when applied along with the full toolkit of control tactics.
David Hume is a really good reference point for the Scottish Enlightenment,, and the Swiss were a really huge influence on the American system as well. The best way to keep speech free is to make it impossible to stop. If only we had a world wide decentralized architecture with censorship resistance at the foundational level;-) In the future we can use quantum entanglement. There’s no bandwidth restrictions, and it stays connected with no towers radiating us at all, even at the other end of the universe. The communication can’t even be intercepted because it’s literally teleporting from point A to point B with nothing in between to even grab…
I thank god I grew up in a time with school teachers who had that classic civic American minds and instilled in us. I feel sorry for this newer generation with their liberal bubble headed teachers erasing student pronouns and thinking its wonderful.
I say it all the time, Americans understand freedom.
The treats don’t seem good enough to get in line for, especially if the exchange is to shut up. While I subscribe to the injunction that discretion is the better part of valor, it is not discretion to countenance grotesque injustice–something that both sides of the political aisle should concur upon.
yikes…
Lobbying FOR more NATO war toys ….
