I don’t seem to be smart enough to access your info. Print and web appear to offer many hints but no details. I feel like a child who needs an adult’s hand to find the theater’s restroom. In particular I would like to be able to look deeper into the bulleted and bold items listed under the “questions” in the print wrapups. Any help would be appreciated. B
Ben:
I need to know what topics and sections you are looking at. I am happy to make suggestions from the different interviews and reports – I just need to know you would like to know. If you are looking at hard copies, remember that some tables and some listings of articles are hyperlinked and flexible on the web presentation.

Thank you Ms. Fitts for your willingness. I am indeed looking at hard copy and doing all I can to stop using the web. I may be hoping too strong for your insights to be clear to a redneck using only the print. I will continue to work at it as you are in procession of what I need. I am using all areas of your interests. Please continue and I will glean as able.
Ben:
For the Wrap Ups, can you download the audios to an off line player and listen in car or when you are walking etc – For the News Trends and Stories section of the wrap ups, I strongly recommend the audios.

Catherine,
Do you think all this drama with Brexit is happening just to confuse the public and hope they’ll give up before ANOTHER vote happens? I’m listening to this report and I am so confused….
3rd vote, 4th vote, vote with this chamber, vote with that chamber… I’m spinning and it feels intentional.
Intentional and scaring the public.
It’s awful.

What is happening is a highly complex negotiation happening with a very fractured body politic with a process that has lacked integrity. Kind of the worst of all worlds.

Catherine…..we are all eagerly awaiting your commentary on the college admissions scandals taking place. The state of Pennsylvania was mentioned a little in the pres; but no colleges from there seem to have been hung out to dry, yet. Most were California, and of course Yale. While this has been going on for years; do you think that there will be any actual punishments, or that it will all be washed over? Totally disgusting to watch; being as how I put myself through school!
Lauran:
I just reviewed in the Money & Markets commentary that will be posted tonight – there is a deeper story here. I reviewed some of the possibilities including:
Hit on TPG and Wilke Farr – they are a transaction team
Looking for members of the establishment to throw to the lions to satisfy and entertain the crowd before the election
By slaughtering members of the establishment in this way you scare everyone else into being prepared to toe the line – they will not push back against the crazy stuff coming
White out on upcoming decision on Harvard’s court case related to admissions – prosecutions came out of DOJ in BOSTON – note many major Harvard competitors on the list
The message to the establishment is very clear and chilling – “financial coup d’etat is over – you are now expendable. Play ball or you could be next.” A lot of people will not be able to adjust – the corruption is deep and wide.
Given the Presidential campaign coming up, no reason to let these folks skate. In a slowing economy, they are all expendable. Top people would much rather throw them to the wolves than have to explain why they had bankrupted much of the next generation with student loans.
I would not want to be in their shoes. They are in serious trouble – especially if the freshman Congressman decide to make them a cause célèbre.
