April 19, 1775, marked the Battle of Lexington and Concord which historically signified the beginning of the American Revolution, so Robert Kennedy Jr., as a good New Englander, choosing April 19 to announce his presidential run is, in effect, alluding to the beginning of a second American Revolution. By the way, that particular month and date has been stigmatized by Homeland Security as a supposedly popular event for militias and white supremacists. I would not be surprised to see this association proclaimed by members of the mercenary Anglo-American Press.

Is John Titus ever going to actually buy some furniture for his new pad?
-
John’s pad is uncluttered. Not a bad thing.
-
Okay, well how about a small table with a potted flower? With a vacation pic? Just looks so sterile!
-
He’s a bachelor…leave him be. ?
-
A free, inspired and decorated life 🙂

John, please correct your pronunciation of the word ‘lived’, whether on its own or in conjunction with short- and long- . the ‘i’ in ‘lived’ is a short vowel ?
-
Either way is fine.

Thank you for another great podcast. So much news to dishearten one – the agri-atrocity tactics escalated yesterday (18,000 dairy cows in Texas) – wonderful to see something as brilliant as the initiatives described in this article. Not in a position to verify from here but hopefully you can.

I got a chuckle over the NY Times photo of the tank in Ukraine. The man in the foreground pointing, and looking official, is Henry who is in leadership with the Georgians. I recognized him from pictures my son has shared from Ukraine and he confirmed it. The Georgians are a volunteer group from the country of Georgia, grifters basically, who con young men from other countries into coming over to “fight”. For the most part they don’t get into the war but collect donations from foreign aid groups. They create impressions of being active in the conflict. At the beginning of the war they sent their “volunteers” to various villages to “train” the locals in combat. It’s such a farce; mostly harmless fortunately. Foreign volunteers are young men without military experience so perhaps the Georgians provide a service by keeping them out of the war but that is not their purpose. Leadership is living the high life with drugs, booze and donations. I don’t think they’re connected with Ukraine’s military.

Eighteenth of April is Paul Revere’s ride, the 19th is the day of the battles of Lexington and Concord. The shot heard round the world. And a new moon.
-
You remind me of Longfellow’s poem, “Paul Revere’s Ride.” When I was a little girl, I would have my father read it to me – as often as he would.
-
Partial solar eclipse, not just a Full Moon.

Mr. Kennedy’s announcement is akin to a ‘shot heard ’round the world’. The 19th is also marked by Paul Revere’s ride, and the beatification of Joan of Arc.
