  4. My jaw dropped when Catherine related her experience bumping into Ken Lay on a plane a few weeks after his death. It dropped again when a quick internet search turned this up:
    “Convicted on 10 felony counts in 2006 – a verdict that he said at the time left him ‘shocked’ – Lay died of a heart attack six weeks later while awaiting sentencing. Because he never had the chance to appeal the verdict, his convictions were vacated by the court.”
    Courts don’t do that! On what authority?! So, if Lay is discovered alive, and the public is outraged, he doesn’t have to fear being hauled off to prison?!

    1. A month before we attacked Iraq, there was a short tv news piece reporting, “Condi Rice was seen traveling with Saddam in a convoy leaving Iraq.”

      1. Wow, I shouldn’t be surprised, but good grief! How many whoppers do these people tell and get away with! So they live in plain sight but are invisible because media doesn’t report except for occasional goofs?

  5. RE: What to call the war on the people.
    I’ve been calling it the “Covid Crisis” and when people ask I point out that it was a political crisis not a medical one. I think I borrowed it from Tess Laurie from world council for health.

  6. Take a look at Laurel Canyon on the hippie movement. It was an op to co opt the anti Vietnam war movement.
