(1) I just learned that having cash at home over $9,999.99 is considered illegal. Is that true?
(2) Safe deposits, I understand, are not safe.
Catherine, you keep advising to arrange with local businesses alternatives to cash but what about people who only have Targets and whole foods in the area? You can’t bargain cash with them. Yikes!
And what do you do when your rent is paid with social security? We’re screwed!
