  1. This is amazing and I think it qualifies as pushback. Someone on twitter started a hashtag ‘Trudeau must go’ and now Canadians are tweeting selfies along with a few sentences about themselves and each post ends with “According to Trudeau, I’m an extremist…”. Those posting are either unvaccinated or anti-mandate. It is currently the highest trending topic on Twitter in Canada with over 100K tweets. It is incredibly effective and the pro-mandate drones are in hysterics because it is putting faces on the outgroup and smashing the stereotype.

      The push against Trudeau is probably planned. People consuming their anger toward a pawn and missing the bigger picture.
      We have one politician(only one) jailed each 4-5 years and everybody is happy that government fights corruption. Each time, this politician was nobody few years back. Then he raised in few months, in one year he is the main enemy of the state. Made millions illegally goes to jail few years, keeps the money.

  3. Catherine: Ethereum has been working on “proof of stake” since their inception. What they didn’t have until recently was a mathematical proof that this approach would maintain the integrity of the network in the presence of potentially malicious actors. Proof of work was less complex, and had already been vetted both theoretically and in practice. So it was their strategy until now.

    Bitcoin in terms of the crypto ecosystem tends to favor proven, robust technology, and keeping their protocol simple. Ethereum tends to be more experimental, and includes “smart contracts”, little automatons with their own wallets. Because of the additional complexity of Ethereum its security footprint is fundamentally more difficult to validate than Bitcoin’s, but it also has more flexibility and use cases.

    Ethereum switching to proof of work comes at a very interesting time… when crypto is historically low. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Ethereum take the lead over Bitcoin because of this. But what do I know? I am a programmer who has studied the whitepapers, worked with other researchers, and gone to some conferences at Stanford. But I don’t own any crypto and don’t play the speculation game myself.

    Two things that have always concerned me with crypto: 1) The trade volume is almost entirely speculative, very little transactional, 2) a currency system is a proxy for human values – what behavior are we incentivizing?

    I would like to see local currencies pegged to real goods and services, anchored by clearinghouses. What if communities and regions could embody their values by incentivizing food, housing, manufacturing, and the furtherance of life? A clearinghouse could keep reserves in the form of USD, gold, grain, bullets… whatever. And could dispense those reserves to empower the means of production within the community. This would free up capital for purchase of energy, which is ultimately the basis for any tangible economy.

    There is no reason we can’t create sovereign currency systems, and sovereign communication networks. We have all of the building blocks available to do this now. But to my knowledge it has not been done yet. One of the key pieces missing is that the geeks who understand cryptography have not understood how to present a message that is relevant to pressing human concerns. I think also the Silicon Valley echo chamber has neglected to notice that the political right may be the ideal customer for products which deliver on tangible sovereignty.

    1. Holy cow Brandon, as I was reading what you wrote, I thought, “wait, did I write this to Catherine?”…no, but I have had these thoughts that you shared.

      I am also a programmer and I have actually written some Smart Contracts here and there for a brief gig with a company a long time ago. I know some things have changed with Metamask, a new UI I think, but beyond that, I have not kept up and I also do not own crypto for the same reasons as you, its why I thought I was reading my own writing.

    Proof of stake instead of proof of work is supposed to be the difference…the Ethereum Foundation hosted an event called “The Merge” where this was presented.

            After a few minute I still have not gotten an introduction to who the speaker is and what is his background and personal economics and potential conflicts – basic info is not reviewed or disclosed. There are many basic things that a presenter can do to help you vet them. He does not do.

            So – speaker is stranger and I do not have what I need to vet him. I am just supposed to trust him?

            Feels to me that there is a reasonable chance that entrainment and subliminal programming has been overlaid. Hence, trying to watch it becomes very energy expensive. Even potentially dangerous if there is entrainment.

            The introduction is not respectful of the users time – potential giveway that this may be staged. So no reason for me to wait for the content. The stranger is not respecting my time, so I do not want to run risk or invest time because information that comes from people you do not know, can not vet or can not trust is not actionable intelligence.

            Historically, I have found that the time to get to prune out nuggets in cases with this fact pattern, turn out to be a poor investment of time.

            If I spent more time on this, it means I do not spend time on things that provide valuable actionable intelligence.

This is pretty farfetched and while I have not read all the supporting documents, one way to view it is to note that his premise is that “the military” will do the job, while the rest of us “Barney Feiffes” can sit back and watch. Derek makes no mention of the execrable General Milley, nor the bumbling former general, Lloyd Austin. I’m not sure, short of a mutiny, how their necessary removal works, and the presenter makes no suggestion of a denouement in any case. In other words, what happens and what comes afterwards?

        There is inherent danger in hoping for Deus ex machina, which is what’s being offered. I would not be complacent.

But the lack of investigation into his claims which he backs up with a list of documentation for all to read…he has proven his point in the fact of most are lazy to go read the documents for themselves, to see what he says is supported. I do agree that his video is overly emotional, and tends to cause the listener to dismiss his message. Which is unfortunate. I plowed through it, pulling out the facts, and am taking the time to read the docs. So far, he is spot on. One vet to another, I have given him my time. Unfortunately, many won’t. He’s an American soldier that loves his country. Ultimately, our world may get to the point where we will truly need our Saviour to return to fight for us and rescue the remnant. Lord Jesus come quickly. Thank you for all you do for God’s glory. You are all appreciated greatly.

You are more than welcome to remove this whole thread and video. That’s ok. I totally understand your stance on using our energy and possible entrainment and the such. I remember you speaking on that years ago in a conference you were analyzing. I’m really not sucked in by emotions, if so, I would have lost it long ago with all this genocide and evil ramping up.
