Don’t forget to keep the Chinese people in your prayers. The covid virus is really going crazy over there.

Saying prayers. Most horrible.
Catherine: Ethereum has been working on “proof of stake” since their inception. What they didn’t have until recently was a mathematical proof that this approach would maintain the integrity of the network in the presence of potentially malicious actors. Proof of work was less complex, and had already been vetted both theoretically and in practice. So it was their strategy until now.
Bitcoin in terms of the crypto ecosystem tends to favor proven, robust technology, and keeping their protocol simple. Ethereum tends to be more experimental, and includes “smart contracts”, little automatons with their own wallets. Because of the additional complexity of Ethereum its security footprint is fundamentally more difficult to validate than Bitcoin’s, but it also has more flexibility and use cases.
Ethereum switching to proof of work comes at a very interesting time… when crypto is historically low. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Ethereum take the lead over Bitcoin because of this. But what do I know? I am a programmer who has studied the whitepapers, worked with other researchers, and gone to some conferences at Stanford. But I don’t own any crypto and don’t play the speculation game myself.
Two things that have always concerned me with crypto: 1) The trade volume is almost entirely speculative, very little transactional, 2) a currency system is a proxy for human values – what behavior are we incentivizing?
I would like to see local currencies pegged to real goods and services, anchored by clearinghouses. What if communities and regions could embody their values by incentivizing food, housing, manufacturing, and the furtherance of life? A clearinghouse could keep reserves in the form of USD, gold, grain, bullets… whatever. And could dispense those reserves to empower the means of production within the community. This would free up capital for purchase of energy, which is ultimately the basis for any tangible economy.
There is no reason we can’t create sovereign currency systems, and sovereign communication networks. We have all of the building blocks available to do this now. But to my knowledge it has not been done yet. One of the key pieces missing is that the geeks who understand cryptography have not understood how to present a message that is relevant to pressing human concerns. I think also the Silicon Valley echo chamber has neglected to notice that the political right may be the ideal customer for products which deliver on tangible sovereignty.
Holy cow Brandon, as I was reading what you wrote, I thought, “wait, did I write this to Catherine?”…no, but I have had these thoughts that you shared.
I am also a programmer and I have actually written some Smart Contracts here and there for a brief gig with a company a long time ago. I know some things have changed with Metamask, a new UI I think, but beyond that, I have not kept up and I also do not own crypto for the same reasons as you, its why I thought I was reading my own writing.
Are you on Solari Connect? Would love for you to join us there and lets connect.
“Our groups are subscriber only and conform to place. We do not have remote groups. A place based group – for example, “Western Tennessee” – can create subcategories that focus on topics within the group – for example, “local farmers and farmers market.””
I’m in Western Colorado, so we may not be able to connect on there.

You can easily start a group in Subscriber input to connect and share on particular topics.
Catherine
Well, I guess that’s a sign I’m in the right place. Well met Daniel! Yes let’s talk. I’ll join Connect now.
Dr. Gary Null lives near Lee County Florida so I wonder how much of this designate WHO as a terrorist organization is influenced by his presence there.
This is amazing and I think it qualifies as pushback. Someone on twitter started a hashtag ‘Trudeau must go’ and now Canadians are tweeting selfies along with a few sentences about themselves and each post ends with “According to Trudeau, I’m an extremist…”. Those posting are either unvaccinated or anti-mandate. It is currently the highest trending topic on Twitter in Canada with over 100K tweets. It is incredibly effective and the pro-mandate drones are in hysterics because it is putting faces on the outgroup and smashing the stereotype.

Fantastic!
Makes it clear – the JT campaign to destroy all productivity.
This is a pushback: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9w0OadktGI
The push against Trudeau is probably planned. People consuming their anger toward a pawn and missing the bigger picture.
We have one politician(only one) jailed each 4-5 years and everybody is happy that government fights corruption. Each time, this politician was nobody few years back. Then he raised in few months, in one year he is the main enemy of the state. Made millions illegally goes to jail few years, keeps the money.
IMHO you may have missed Russia’s message via the missiles hitting the civilian electricity network. This from Zerohedge :
/quote
If Moscow decides to take out all major Ukraine substations at once, all it takes is a few missiles to totally smash the Ukrainian energy grid – adding a new meaning to “decommunization”: de-energization. According to an expert analysis, “if transformers of 110-330 kV are damaged, then it will almost never be possible to put it into operation (…) And if this happens at least at 5 substations at the same time, then everything is kaput. Stone age forever.””

That message is not only to Kiev but also to Berlin and to London. The US already knows this. To a lesser extent it is a message to the Ukraine Azov Military.
Having heard and digested the whole Money & Markets Report, I found the opening 10 minutes very enlightening.
Keeping Germany and Russia apart via the old Grand chessboard Eurasia agenda.
I agree with both John Titus and Catherine, in that the German leadership is singular engaged in that unfolding ideology. It destoys anything and anybody together by being personally totally lost as schizophrenics.
My translation, they are serving two masters frantically and simultaniously, those being Ahriman and Lucifer. Ahriman a force that pulls down and Lucifer a force that pulls up.
No wonder practitioners are being ripped apart together with their followers.
Humanity is truely living in extraordinary times, but living on and in ground zero of these forces is daunting. I am not afraid to admit I am having difficulties putting on my big boy’s pants!
Catherine, in light of recent events concerning Mr. Putin murder attempt or fallacy theroff, what is your take on the events? This is Joseph Farrell’s?

John needs to chill out he’s locked up in a binary world and won’t play with the creative space afforded by working with Catherine
I agree with Najat – I like the dynamic between the two. When CAF talks about nudging through vaccine parties I cracked up when John responded: “I am crushed, I did not get my invitation” 😀
John is a lawyer and is very grounded by evidence ie why he named his YouTube channel “Best Evidence.” Catherine has the government/financial experience that has developed her instincts. That’s why Catherine & John work so well together, its a Yi-Yang type of energy and they feed off each other. We as viewers reap the rewards from it.
