Hi Catherine-I cannot make it to Knoxville . I heard you mention you are headed up to Pennsylvania. Any chance you could do a meet up with people from the Pennsylvania and New Jersey area?Safe travels!
-
Working on it. So possible.
-
I hope you can make it work. I can’t get to TN, but can definitely get to NJ or PA!!!

-
Catherine, this would be great if something may be arranged in the PA area! Thank you for considering it.
-
We are working on a lunch on October 28th in Malvern. Depends on whether we can get the venue in the right location.

-
Catherine,
Do you have any plans to be in Florida?-
Catherine, on second thought may not be a great time to travel here depending on the location.

As a finance person / accountant (in Canada), I will say that watching Money & Markets is one of the highlights of my week. Love Catherine and John’s individual insights into the various topics. (I have learned so much about how things really work!) I take notes and do further research, as necessary. I also think there is great chemistry between Catherine & John. Keep up the great work!

Correction: Ripple (XRP) has nothing to do with Ethereum. Ripple is a distributed ledger system (not blockchain), with both public and private versions available, where CBDC’s of various sorts are being rolled out. See for instance https://ripple.com/insights/ripple-pilots-a-private-ledger-for-central-banks-launching-cbdcs/
Meanwhile, Ethereum operates on its blockchain which did just move from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake. CBDC’s on this could take the place of stablecoins which are widely used there.

Thanks.

“Over the summer, American buyers had been barred by sanctions from buying Russian debt. The Treasury Department’s exemption allows US investors to buy and sell the bonds for seven days.
.. Goldman Sachs emerged as the only participating investment bank to put in a net positive order for Kremlin-backed bonds, as it placed a bid for more than $1.3 billion, according to the report.
To meet the $500 million gap between prospective buyers and sellers, outside investors holding Russian debt unloaded about $500 million of bonds, priced at about 56 cents on the dollar.”

@John Titus – Your recent interview with RFK, Jr is brilliant. https://anchor.fm/rfkjr
It gave me a new idea. Whenever you’re approved for bank loans, ASK FOR YOUR MONEY IN CASH!
John, where can we watch BAILOUT?
-
Bailout is offline for the time being.
-
Thanks, Catherine. John mentioned the author of the book BAILOUT at the tail end of his discussion with RFK, Jr, but we couldn’t hear the name. Do you know who it is?
-
Assume it was this one https://library.solari.com/book-review-bailout-by-neil-barofsky/

Yup, that’s the one! Thanks, Catherine
