  1. Catherine, regarding your Laughland Report Interview, you ask why KENT CIGARETTES were local currency in Communist Romania? KENT CIGS are British. That may answer your question.

    1. Caroline – You might find this of interest, if we can believe “their” numbers.

I am 95% “unbanked” by choice, for the last 2.5 yrs. I only have a bank account for a monthly check that must be deposited electronically, but gets withdrawn for cash once a month. Have simplified my life as much as possible. I use cash exclusively, and a visa gift card for occasional internet purchases. Money order(s) for three monthly bills, such as rent and utilities. Once I set up the routine, it’s easy and I’m happier for making a conscious choice of opting out of “the system” and exercising freedom :). Living well is the best revenge!

    2. Catherine, in the Laughland Report interview you said that we would be surprised how many people refuse to have a bank account. How do people operate without a bank account? Please lead the way. Thank you.

      1. For budgeting purposes, we recently started getting our pay out in cash and putting it in envelopes for each thing. Electricity, LP gas, groceries and so forth. It’s actually much easier (for my brain at least) to track it like that as you know if the envelope is empty or not. If so, you need to either do without or get it from another envelope. We’ve been doing this for a couple of months or so and so far, it’s working. Also, you get cash discounts at the gas station sometimes so there’s that.

      2. Cash and money orders. They drive by the utility and drop off cash. They go to the local grocery store where they can pay their phone bill. They cash their payroll check at a cash checking service. Or they earn cash. Then they line up the post office and buy money orders to mail to people. They go to Western Union to send money. Lots and lots of ways.

        1. Thank you, Catherine, that was very kind of you. It’s elementary but helpful.

  2. TIME FOR ACTION – 2023 is the year of 322 – the number of the Yale secret club! It’s a big year! Clif High has a great suggestion for people [as VOX POPULI] to contact their legislators. The first step is collecting all their emails as well as their assistants (most importantly) in one place, and he helps us along.

  3. Something a bit hopeful.

Bioweapons, EUA products, IND products, Constitutional crisis.
“I think the way out and through this whole mess is for People, Congress, courts and state governments to openly acknowledge and deal with the Constitutional crisis set in motion during the Civil War and built up by the central bankers and executive branch/administrative state since then.
    It sucks.” https://bailiwicknews.substack.com/p/bioweapons-eua-products-ind-products

  4. Happy New Year Catherine and John. Love your stuff. It’s the highlight of my week. Keep it coming. Don’t stop. I need to mention your special here with C.J. Hopkins on Mr. Global. He is a very insightful man. I found the dialog very insightful.

    Keep up the good work!

  5. I’ve studied clifs work since 2006. And this audio is kind of preaching to the choir but I still feel that for some of us at least, it has value…. it kept me up for hours cause I sense a lot of truth and insight within it. I know many of us are busy with REAL LIFE stuff. This could be a peak into the next year and it may not be 100 percent the gospel ….but I could talk for hours on this subject …..what is coming in 2023 and what should we do about it.

    1. Clif is high. I have never seen someone post so many incorrect positions.$400 silver is imminent (for the last 12-24 months). Devolution. And so on. Entertainment at best, grifting most likely.

  6. Over Christmas, the radio played some wonderful music. 3 favorites I’d like to share with you to kick off the New Year:

    1) I sang Gregorian chants with the male voices when I sang in church choirs since my voice was low, and had the pleasure of walking through corridors of a cathedral in concert. This one is particularly exquisite. I hope you enjoy it.
Veni, veni Emanuel [Hymn: France, 13th Century]

    2) This music is performed by EMPIRE BRASS. They have recorded Bach’s music and have an album BAROQUE MUSIC FOR BRASS AND ORGAN if you’re interested to explore further. In particular, I was introduced to their JOY TO THE WORLD. It’s all brass, of course, and the arrnagements are so clever, even comic. I feel like I’m on a fox hunt! I hope you enjoy it.

    3) this last one I heard on New Year’s Day. To think he wrote it in 1941 in the US for the Philadelphia orchestra. This version is so alive and conjures up Hollywood soundtracks to come.
