  1. US had to buy Israeli missile defense system because US system does not work, if the plan is to protect the Arab states from Iran they need to hook them up with the Israeli system.

  2. I live in Taylors, South Carolina. Today I went to Ingles, a large almost fully automated grocery store. When I was checking out of the store the store would not accept cash. I had to wait almost twenty minutes to get a manager to over ride whatever controls are in place to keep their automated system working. Has anyone else had this issue?
This happened at Ingles Market, 1135 Stallings Rd, Greenville SC 29609

Cash every day until it’s no longer possible to transact.

    1. I lived in North Carolina over the summer and shopped at the Ingles in Jefferson. During the six weeks I was shopping there, they changed all the automatic checkout machines to accept cards only, and most people, including me, stopped using them, which increased the load on the cashiers. A lot of people in that area were using cash. I hope the manager who had to override the system for you was as inconvenienced as you were – it might help them understand that they should accept cash!

  3. Enjoyed this M & Mkt Report Catherine! John, your video which you mention on the toilet flush the Fed is doing to our U.S. Economy is right on target. If your video were a gun, you’d have the Fed/Bankers centered right in the cross hairs!! Great job on the graph overlays in that video too.

  4. A month ago I signed up (from the U.S.) for an online workshop out of Canada. They could only accept payment by check from U.S. participants (which I’m more than happy to do). Today, there was a massive internet outage across Canada affecting, among other things, credit card payments and cel phone service. In other words, people couldn’t pay for anything who didn’t have cash.
I just received word tonight from the workshop organizer that the internet was out for 12 hours today, and she questions if it will be available tomorrow.

    Welcome to the new Can’tada.
