The study of 1,300 children by Michigan and Montreal universities found negative effects on older children rose with every hour of toddler TV.

Performance at school was worse, while consumption of junk foods was higher. UK experts said parents could allow young children to watch “some” high quality TV. The study, part of the Quebec Longitudinal Study of Child Development Main Exposure, asked parents how much TV their children watched at 29 months (two years and five months) and 53 months (four years and five months).

  2. Regarding the healthcare roll up…my wife was an independent contractor who worked at 5 local private practices. All of them were purchased by a group called Millennium. All of the private practices in my area have been bought by two companies. UF Health (University of Florida) or Millennium. Also – my wife had our second child in January of this year. We delivered our first baby two years ago in the same hospital that my wife was born in almost 40 years ago. Since having our first child, that hospital has closed its maternity ward and turned it into a cancer center. They
    Moved all births to a different hospital’s maternity ward. Now that maternity ward is so packed, they don’t have enough room. After giving birth in a proper delivery room, they moved us to a room that was basically a closet because they didn’t have enough beds.

      The government’s own description of the pilot program for Operation TIPS, a proverbial toe in the water, to test the feasibility of managing such an informant network, said it would recruit roughly 350,000 civilian informants in New York City, all spying on their fellow citizens.     As a dis-enfranchised Catholic, I never knew about the Prayer of St. Michael. You can bet your ASS that I’ll be chanting it in my garden every day.

    BTW: Jupiter is making an exact conjunction to Aldebaran this month. The meaning of that conjunction is that Archangel Michael is watching over us and is waiting to intervene on our behalf, but he can’t do that without our consent. This happens every 12 years. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!!!!

      HOLY COW!!!! There’s some serious coherence in that prayer. I actually feel tingly in my body afterwards. And it lasts for about one hour afterwards.
