  1. Now that Robert Kennedy has announced his choice for VP ( I was hoping for Mike Rowe) let me ponder on who Donald Trump should chose. Someone that would work well with Donald would be a low key type of person so not to take away Donald’s energy, but someone he would respect and admire. I believe America is going to be faced with tough times in the coming months that may cause a great deal of uncertainty, so a person with a calm voice, a voice one could trust, a voice of an educated person, a person who does not come across as a politician but a person one could be friends with. I would also look for a person with a great personal story, a person who the understands the value of serving and giving back to society. A person who in a gallup poll scored high on a list of most admired people. An individual that U.S. News and world Report named as one of America’s best leaders plus receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom. But most importand a person who is a healer as that is what America is going to need the next few years. So I hope that Donald Trump selects Dr. Ben Carson has his running mate.

    1. Robert, look at the people he chose last time, pretty much all weak. Weak leaders pick weak people. Men don’t change very much. Maybe I will be wrong. I was very disappointed in RFKjr pic

      1. Not only weak, but compromised. Sessions, Barr, Mnuchin, Pompeo et al. Seriously flawed. Who is picking these people? Trump new boss old boss syndrome.

RFKjr – wth? Short meteoric flash. Grateful for what he has accomplished. VP slot for sale. Sold.

        1. I agree most were weak, some may have been in costume appearing who they are not, some were in the deep state and some were just corrupt. I found it amazing what Trump was able to accomplish in the 4 years despite being handicapped with poor support. But the most amazing thing is many, many people have awaken and now have open eyes to see that many in government don’t have the interest of We The People. Think long game.

          1. Agreed. Take a look at this plan for Reform and Reorg of Federal bureaucracy submitted by OMB in 2018 (link below). Perhaps if he is President again enough will have changed that he will not be prevented from implementing it. Also note that current admin is worried that he will (2nd link). And also note the existence of the Senior Executive Service (3rd link) that, methinks, is responsible for the pushback that handicapped him in his first term.

          2. I agree that SES people were a thorn in his side. If the lawfare attacks against Trump don’t work the DNC back up plan could be to take both houses and try to get a Manchurian Candidate as his VP. I can think at least two high profile people who are getting attention as his VP that fit the bill.

      2. Most of the objections I’ve heard (here and elsewhere) about Trump are well taken. Still, he is the most consequential President in my 60+ years in terms of restoration of the republic and its standing among nations. That includes winning the approbation of the marginalized nations as well as the fear of the nations doing the marginalizing through their tyrannical central banking system. Blue collar Americans, the ones (to paraphrase George Bailey) doing most of the working and paying, tell me that Trump’s style is what they love the most about him. Finally somebody is talking to the bullies in language they can understand. I might add that a good many blue collars are union workers who have reflexively voted D all their lives but they LOVE Trump and perceive him as their best chance for a return to the purchasing power their wage once had.

    2. Noem or Carson would both be good choices. De Santis is the most qualified by unlikely to be chosen,

      1. Ah those pesky qualifications. Are we to use the old rules to set them yet again? Time to revisit the qualifications we use for evaluating candidates and how they are determined. If we don’t it will come as no surprise if nothing changes.

      2. I notice RFK Jr. is spending some of his time on the slopes. What Dr. Carson lacks is foreign affairs

      3. Let’s us look at the gender & race point of view. Would Gov. Noem attract the single woman vote? Would Dr. Carson attract the black vote? I think Dr, Carson holds the edge as already Trump is attracting the young black male vote as Carson would probably add energy to that vote. While Noem would take a miracle attracting the single woman voter as IMHO they are firming embedded into the liberal camp. DeSantis has more value to this country being the Gov. of Florida to be an example for all Governors on how to run a State.

    3. No disrespect intended here. I think I understand your use of the metaphor. I prefer to think of the restoration of the republic and a nation, under God. If healing is what you desire, forget about VP candidates as they will be irrelevant unless and until the truth is revealed. Only the truth will restore this republic and bring comity to its citizens. I will add that a restored republic will only be lost again if the truth is not revealed as people fall prey once again to a different set of lies.

      1. No disrespect taken as I always encourage everyone to speak their minds. I agree it is about truth being revealed to the people. As many people stumble their way out of Plato’s cave and into the sunlight they will need a healing leadership that Dr. Carson can provide. As truth is revealed to restore this republic will require repentance as a society

  2. MOSCOW, April 3 (Reuters) – Russia’s finance ministry said on Wednesday it would more than double its purchases of foreign currency and gold in the month ahead, a move that combined with central bank selling will bring the state’s net forex interventions overall close to zero.
The finance ministry said it would buy the equivalent of 235.3 billion roubles ($2.6 billion), or 11.2 billion roubles per day, of foreign currency and gold from April 5 to May 7. https://www.reuters.com/markets/europe/russias-net-fx-interventions-be-near-zero-april-2024-04-03/

  3. Hello,
My husband and I are subscribers and in the past have looked forward to your weekly (bi-weekly) money market reports.
We especially appreciate your position regarding vaccines, the take-down of America and of course your market reviews – but, due to your stance on Israel we can no longer support your broadcast. In these last days the Lord is separating the sheep from the goats and you apparently are not hearing his voice. The residents of Israel cannot abide with constant missile assaults and threats of annulation.
We love you Catherine and hope that you will take this up with the living God.
    Sincerely,
    Paula Paulin

    1. I prefer to stand against genocide…no matter what excuse given for it and no matter who does it.

    2. Kill them and take their land is not difficult to understand…nor is who is doing what to whom difficult to understand.

  4. Pushback (both from Telegram, Alex Thomson’s Eastern Approaches, and Hrvoje Morić’s Geopolitics and Empire):
    Italy
“Murderer, murderer!” – Italians shout to the former Minister of Health.
In Italy, there is literally a hunt for former Health Minister Roberto Speranza, under whom people were forced to get vaccinated.
Today there is a wave of indignation in the country, including in all media and on TV, due to the large number of people affected by vaccination.
In the video, a crowd of angry Italians chases the former minister Speranza on the street; lately he has been forced to move around the country with police protection.
“Who are you protecting from the people?? Who? How will you look into your children’s  eyes in the evening??”-
Angry citizens shout to the police, trying to break through to the former minister.

    Also,
Former French presidential candidate Gen. Didier Tauzin on how the root of the war in Ukraine lies with NATO:

“I was asked what I would do if I were president. First and foremost, I would immediately order all French troops from this military theater [in Ukraine] to return to France.

I would promptly withdraw from NATO.

Why would I leave NATO? Because NATO has become a war machine that serves American interests.”

  5. Catherine mentioned a Matt Hale a lemon law attorney. Do I have his name spelled correctly and what state is he in. Thank you.

    1. I practice law in Washington and the reference, as I heard was about dealing with lemons. I don’t do “lemon law” claims but happy to help you find a lawyer.

      1. Matt:

Forgive me. Was using lemons broadly as in corrupt retail practices.

      2. Thank you Matthew. I’ll find out if my friend is still having problems with his lemon car and reach out for an attorney. Yep thought you were a lemon law attorney.
