  1. News from Canada:

    Former (federal) Justice Minister David Lametti had an emergency injunction brought against him yesterday for (illegally) deleting the content from his ministerial Twitter account regarding the Trucker Convoy. This is days after the Federal Court declaring the invocation of the Emergency Act was illegal and unconstitutional.
    Lametti resigned the day after (or was it two?) the ruling.

    I honestly think the Trudeau government didn’t see this coming. They thought it was all in the bag.

    BTW: in Canada, the Justice Minister is the Attorney General.

    2. Whatever is happening in Ottawa just keeps getting more and more bizarre. The phrase I use to describe these people:

      They behave like a person that got caught in the middle of backfilling a shallow grave

  6. Anyone have any thoughts on what’s going to happen next at the Texas border?

    Catherine and John have discussed many times.

    Sounds as though we have half the States and Trump (and DeSantis) on one side, with the rest of the country and the Executive branch on the other. Who has ultimate jurisdiction at the Southern border? The States? Or Customs and Border Patrol (CBP)? Can the Biden administration invoke authority over the Texas National Guard (TNG)?

    According to an article in ZeroHedge, CBP personnel on the ground are cooperating with TNG, and have said they won’t remove razor wire erected by the TNG.

    I live in Texas, although nowhere near the border-so unfortunately I’m not in a position to provide intelligence.

    If anyone has answers to these questions, I’d love to hear them.

    1. Not sure the pro-illegal immigration side has half the country. For example, NYC seems fed up with the immigration situation.

      What this comes down to is not jurisdiction, even though the pro invasion media and pols will no doubt frame it that way. Seems to me a clear constitutional question of the violation of the oath of office and treason. Biden is refusing to execute the laws and therefore is violating the constitution. While doing so, the operation has been been largely obscured to the public, and there has been no discussion by this band of criminals to justify their covert actions that violate the immigration laws. IOW, they haven’t said that they deem the immigration laws unconstitutional, haven’t campaigned to over turn them. They simply violate the laws very actively by financially and otherwise supporting illegal immigration and pretend it’s not happening.

      Now they have apparently moved to economically damage Texas by banning LNG exports, after they have told Europe, “Don’t worry about us blowing up nordstream. We’ll supply all the natural gas you need with our LNG.”

      According to Brion McClanahan: “Biden cannot “nationalize” the Guard in this instance because federal law would not allow it.

      “The Texas National Guard is already enforcing federal law, meaning that if Biden nationalized the Guard and told them to stand down, he would be in violation of the Constitution.

      “He would also violate federal law. The Insurrection Act of 1792 allows the President to nationalize the militia (National Guard) in three instances: to suppress insurrection, stop domestic violence, or enforce federal law.

      “Allowing invasion is not on the list. Nor is breaking the law.

      “That would be a dereliction of duty, an impeachable offense.”

      McClanahan also points out that economic retaliation against Texas is treason. If the house Repubs were genuine, the impeachment charges would include dereliction of duty on enforcing immigration law, and treason. They would push for an impeachment vote immediately. Don’t hold your breath.

      Mr. Global’s henchmen have already signaled where they’re going with this: they are going to retaliate against Texas, in sneaky ways at first. How far can they go? I guess only their imagination is the limit. Will Texas stand tall? If they turn off football and ban beer, no way.

        Surely Biden’s already in violation of the Constitution? On so many other matters. And when I refer to Biden, I don’t mean him specifically; he clearly isn’t capable of tying his own shoelaces.

        Would one more violation bother the people pulling his strings? Just a question.

        1. The “border crisis” must appear to be “in process” of getting ‘’resolved” so they can reopen the Israeli deli and the Ukrainian laundromat to recycle enough funds to fix the “election” upcoming.

            If he’s correct (and I don’t know whether he is or not), then there is NO dispute between Texas and the Federal government, and it’s all theater.

            Which leads me to ask questions about the Ukraine conflict. How much of that was real, as opposed to a film production? How were dignitaries such as Janet Yellen and Boris Johnson able to meet with Zelenskyy in Kiev? Did they ask the Russians (nicely) to stop bombing for the duration of a photo op? Was there something symbolically significant about Sean Penn presenting Zelenskyy with an Oscar statuette?

            I just don’t know what to believe any longer. I get the feeling that so much of the conflict we see reported in the media is fake. And all played out by actors (politicians) reading a script.

          3. I saw border coverage videos by Ann Vandersteel and Michael Yon, August 2023. The border is a huge problem. The Twitter post you linked shows no activity, however I don’t know if that means anything. Since border coverage showed what was going on, I understand they started coordinating the illegals arrival with the bus transportation.

          4. That’s not to say that to say that people are not coming through the unguarded areas. And I agree with his video that it is political. They stay in power by trying to turn us against each other and always lying about everything. But in the end, I believe our open border is intended to destroy our country.

          5. I think there is an invasion. The question is whether Abbott is really doing something to stop it or not.

          6. Tim Caban sent a link to WEF and Abbott is a WEF member. It’s all a show. Haley will be next appointment, IMHO.

          9. It only makes sense when you consider they might all be working together to depopulate and rearrange the planet. I don’t see any good guys in Texas protecting the border. Bus loads of emigrants here and there are deployments by my way of thinking, and not a retaliation to an open border policy.

          10. The first thing WE need to do is use the correct language- name it correctly. They are ‘ illegal aliens’ as per US Code, not emigrants, or undocumented Americans, or refugees, or asylum seekers, or migrants. Illegal alien invaders , disrespecting our nation and its citizens.

      2. Jurisdiction does matter. Texas has concurrent jurisdiction over all its land right up to the Rio Grande. And, yes, Biden has not done his Constitutional duty to protect Texas & all states from invasion.

    2. There is a difference between Migration and Immigration.

      According to the IOM, migration is an integral part of the UN 2030 agenda for sustainable development, and that the sustainable development goals cannot be reached without safe, orderly, and regular migration.       1. Martenson is not reliable. He should have known about the immigration project as soon as obummer was scammed into office. It’s been going on longer, but was really obvious and ramped up under that regime. So Martenson is only about 15-16 years late. He was 100% wrong about da coveed, fear mongering about how it was gonna kill us all. Why does anyone listen to this guy???

    4. They are simply moving to the next stage of divide and conquer. Everyone is picking sides, just the way they like it. Another Hollywood food fight for the masses.
      If you can imagine they are all working toward the same goal, Abbott, Biden and all the rest. Then it begins to make sense.

Ted Poe, former judge and Congressional Rep stated recently that when the Republic of Texas joined the union Texas retained ‘ concurrent jurisdiction’ over all land in Texas which goes up to the Rio Grande. Recently, Texas AG Paxton made demand on the Feds to produce any written land grants which the Feds contend were given to the union by the Republic. Don’t exist.

  7. This piece of news should have no impact here to world views (of subscribers at Solari), but worth noting I think. Essentially, the FDA has changed the rules (as of Jan 22, 2024) so that they can waive informed consent on clinical investigations. This will be judged according to guidelines of their own determination (of what is “minimal in risk” etc.)
