I was stunned by the revelation of side letters.
I’d like to suggest that you and John do a special report, “Side Letter Side Show” to more fully inform subscribers and, thereby, the public of this monumental fraud.
Publishing a catalog of notable examples of side letters in this report might be enough to trigger a firestorm of blinded-investor withdrawals, pension fund investigations and regulatory push back.

This is a hostile takeover of water by the technocrats using the same script they are running on food and energy: create scarcity, centralize control, and prioritize their own infrastructure. The new surveillance and limitations on water will be used to force farmers into using the “precision irrigation” and crops genetically engineered to be “climate resilient.”
Reject the technocrats’ bid for control of our food and water. Sovereign ownership of these resources at the local level IS a human right, and we must defend it.

In the UK the structure is already in place. The only thing that needs to change is a means to decide whether the environment will be “harmed” by your (not their) water use.
Catherine and John, about bots and AI, my dh just mentioned that he asked some AI a rudimentary question, wanted a quick answer about computer code, and AI was wrong. I told him about your conversation this week. He said that when AI 1st started being used among software programmers (this was years ago–btw, I’ve been hearing about AI’s immanent take over since I graduated from college in 1979!) the info was helpful. When more peops started using it, the answers to software problems went from cogent explanations with solutions to “people have this problem and tried a few things, and this seems to have worked.” In other words, the flunky programmers were degrading the results. Now he can’t even get a quick answer about a basic command. It appears that the more widespread AI’s “learning sources” are the worse it’ll get. IOW, as John pointed out, the more dumb bots (by definition) flood interwebs traffic, the dumber AI becomes. I suppose this bodes well for our future. Let’s hope AI crashes and burns before Mr Global turns power and water over to its control…
Digital tech is messy and unreliable. I don’t think that is an accident. It was created for surveillance and control, not productivity. Hard to say where it is going to go from here. It is a pea soup of multiple intentions and intellegence. I just keep buying hard books.
Part of the design of the digital systems is the manufactured obsolescence part which has gotten more and more extreme. Almost no one needs a more powerful computer or tablet or iPhone. But they all have obsolescence built in. Not just for the hardware but if you develop apps or computer programs, while you should be able to develop something one time – essentially because the processor it all runs on has not truly changed, you are force to redesign and redesign as the big companies like Google, Apple and Microsoft will purposely update or force your program to stop running even on older systems. No one actually needs a new word processor and 99% of accounting software from 15 years ago would work just fine now, but everything is force into subscriptions unnecessary updates. The time and productivity wasted is enormous.
Regarding the ever lower levels of US SPR and weapons, what happens if our homeland is attacked. Can we defend it? Maybe the plan is to leave our nation so weakened that we surrender without even fighting?
Regarding US-Israeli integration, doesn’t the Republican Party have a majority in the Senate? If so, how could they lose in a party line vote?
It is the Republicans who are pushing the integration. Democrats have been pushing against it.
John and Catherine – In regard to your discussion about Harriet Hageman, as a Wyoming resident I know she has done some positive things like fight to protect Wyoming’s public land by fighting the SEC proposal to introduce natural asset companies (NACs) and keeps on fighting to protect Wyoming land, but unfortunately she is a supporter of Israel which makes me wonder if she can be trusted to stop things like data centers and surveillance. She was one of the Congress members that visited Israel last year. She has taken money from APAC, but then again what member of congress hasn’t done that…
Good point. The litmus test is Section 219. “The Massie-Khanna amendment to strip Section 219 never got a vote on the House floor because the Rules Committee declined to make it eligible for debate — so no member, including Hageman, has cast a recorded vote specifically on this provision.” If you are in her district, a good idea to call and insist that she vote NO on 2918 or the NDAA with it in. Thanks for nothing this.
