World War III Madness

“World War III madness” is John’s theme this week — from mounting U.S. troop casualties and Iran’s rejection of the Qatari cease-fire proposal to a Fox News segment telling viewers to expect twenty more years of war.

Catherine and John walk the week’s stories: CentCom bombing commercial shipping, the Houthi maritime ban, Trump Media’s $100,000-a-month feed, SpaceX stock pumpers, Flock and Axon building the surveillance state, Kalshi bettors’ half-billion in losses, and Maryland’s first-in-the-nation ban on surveillance pricing.

Music: Beethoven, Piano Sonata No. 14 “Moonlight”, Op. 27 No. 2, performed by Paul Pitman (public domain, Musopen).

  1. John, on the heat chart, next to JNJ and Lily is AbbVie, also a large pharmaceutical company. AbbVie is closely connected to The Atlantic Magazine, so that it is now unreadable. The New Yorker is pretty bad also; the goodness of parma is assumed in every article, but I can’t tell which company.

Why are we seeing anti Flock efforts? Arranged no doubt by AXON.

It is always good to think things through with you.

  2. I have not finished listening yet but I have to thank Catherine in her being such an amazing and caring individual. Thank you so much Catherine for sharing your experiences and especially about the birds and dog in one of your past homes. When you explain your past experiences (as well as your knowledge) these types of stories you interject into these discussions are a Godsend to some of us that you may not realize. I deeply appreciate you interjecting your personal experiences into these episodes of M&M as well as many of your interviews

  3. I wish I could comment on how stupid the guy that needs a haircut is — Engineer, Huntsville, AL.

  4. The author of the “Great Maui Land Grab” was on a Rumble video this week showing pics of half charred bodies in Lahaina, leaving no conclusion but Directed Energy Weapons against the Hawaiian people. She also showed half charred dogs and cats. They opined that radiation fallout is why the downtown Lahaina district is still closed.
The truly sad part was the admission that 2,000+ kids are still unaccounted for and labeled missing. I learned from doctors in western NC during Helene that dead bodies in body bags with no ID are not labeled deceased just missing until they can ever be identified.

    1. Yes, much speculation on whether the children were kidnapped or killed.
