   1. Clout Hub also has a meet end-to-end encrypted section. It is run by Todd Callender and his team. They are very trustworthy. I have to admit that I sometimes have problems with their website, but my computer seems to tell me what I am allowed to watch. So I’m not sure if the problem is their website or my computer., I suspect the latter.

7. One of your best Money & Markets Reports ever! I share your notion John, that a person running for office or appointed to a governmental position should have a modicum of knowledge relative to that position. In my experience after 25 years in the Calif Insurance industry, the last 3 Insurance Commissioners have had ZERO insurance experience. It got pretty exhausting having boss, who the Insurance Commissioner ultimately is to licensed insurance professionals, who knew nothing about the business they were spearheading at the State level. Once again, in this week’s elections, Calif voters have put two folks on the ballot for November’s run off with ZERO experience in insurance. Pretty sad considering the Insurance scenario in the wildfire ravaged State which Calif has now become. So, I would say it has become de rigueur in many political positions, at both the State and Federal levels, to enter them with no knowledge whatsoever of what the office or work relative to that office entails.

   1. I trained as an Engineer, and that training excluded anything about management, rhetoric, or psychology. In management I found myself at a disadvantage when “Managers” argued that they were generalists with skills to manage anything.
      While there was some truth to that, I’ll suggest that it is easier to give some management skills to a specialist, than to give specialist skills to a manager.
      The real game though, is what is seen in strategy computer games. The Dictator moves loyal people into positions of power to promote his dictatorship. The ‘two-party’ system is the modern equivalent, and the System is working exactly as designed.

      1. Much truth to what you say. The sad fact is that those in political office with no knowledge of their subject matter have the ability to 1.) affect the future with their incompetence and suggested harmful laws and legislation & 2.) they get taken advantage of by those in true power, the corporations, in my case I state the Insurance Companies, who know a fool when they see one…..I see loyalty to self promotion and self aggrandizement as the only aspects in play for the incompetent. Exhibiting loyalty only helps them get there…
