  1. Hypothetical scenario: US-cartel conflict in mainland USA as trigger for more gun control?

Should the U.S. launch military operations in Mexico, a crush of people would find their way to U.S. ports of entry seeking asylum and their claims would be stronger by fleeing an active war zone involving U.S.-labeled terrorists

America has always been fighting elsewhere .. America’s population, industry … They’ve all been safely 10,000 miles away across oceans from the enemy and pretty much untouchable .. A military intervention against the Cartels would instantly end that..

Cartels .. try to keep things quiet or let American based gangs (who understand how to keep heat low) handle the violence north of the border because they don’t want to have to deal with drone strikes and SEAL Teams. If America starts a hot drug war intervention in Mexico that incentive is gone.

Recent court cases in the United States have revealed… weekly pick-ups from representatives of Mexican criminal groups, made in cash ranging between $150,000 and $1 million, with an average of $500,000. These were made in large cities including Chicago, New York and Atlanta … network of Chinese-owned businesses in the United States and Mexico … transfer a correspondent amount of money through Chinese banking apps. This happened entirely through the Asian country’s domestic banking system.

  3. The tech billionaire’s (15 minute) city idea. Step 1: buy up ranch land and bully anyone who doesn’t comply by means of litigation 2: Sloppily give their vision without any hard numbers 3: Try to convince people that this is a better city than the one they currently live in!

    1. I can’t seem to edit. The documentary is about the events of Jan six – Please watch to the end or even just go to the last ten minutes or so and then rewatch the entire thing if you wish .

      1. Susan:

What browser are you using. Here is my latest discussion with tech team on this issue

Catherine Austin Fitts, [5 Sep 2023 at 23:03:32]:
… Multiple complaints in subscriber comments that subscribers used to be able to edit and now can not. Can we return the edit function to them?

        [5 Sep 2023 at 23:09:19]:
I’ve seen this too. Editing is still enabled. We have tested it many times with FireFox and Safari. The last two support requests that reported this issue was because they used Brave. Switched to FireFox and all was well. We can’t seem to get it to fail on our end.

          1. there’s an option to edit only this post of mine (not older ones), but when trying to complete it, the same error message “you are posting comments too quickly…”

        1. [Entered — Sat16Sep2023 at ~5:35am CDT]:
…it seems that the edit option remains available for only a short time — why? — could that time-limit get extended, or eliminated…?
          [Edited — Sat16Sep2023 at ~5:44am CDT]:
…perhaps the system forgets who I am after a while…(?)
          [Edited — Sat16Sep2023 at ~6:31am CDT]:
…still have option here, but not for another much older comment on another page…

  4. If John and Catherine find it of interest (if it relates to the reset), could y’all comment on the current impasse between Disney and Charter Communications (Spectrum)?

Note: There will be “hunger” riots in the South if we are cutoff from college football much longer!

    Here’s Charter’s story
and here’s from the content provider’s perspective.

Thank y’all! Time between Money & Markets Reports passes nearly as slowly as time between college football games.
