I lived in New York for 11 years. If you lived in New York during that period, you experienced the flamboyant style of Donald Trump and heard the stories of his association with attorney Roy Cohn. Cohn was considered the ultimate New York fixer.
I watched The Apprentice, as it was supposed to describe Cohn and his mentorship of Trump. I can’t recommend The Apprentice as a movie, but it does give you a feeling for an approach and style that uniquely defined that world and time.
The movie lists Cohn’s three rules and lays out their adoption by Donald Trump:
